   It is always great! We had the shrimp and grits and the catch of the day. Delicious!

   We ate at Tortuga's Saltwater Grill the Saturday night before Mother's Day. Our waiter, Chris, was very attentive even though the restaurant was fully booked. The food came out in an orderly manor, allowing us to enjoy each course without feeling rushed. The food was AMAZING! From the fish of the day to the Snapper Pontchartrain! The highlight of our meal was the lobster bisque; flavorful without being overly rich. We did order dessert. The key lime pie was not something we would order again. It wasn't tart like the key lime pies you get in Florida and it had a lime drizzle on top we could have lived without. The cheesecake was creamy and delicious. We would definitely order it next time we visit. Once again Tortuga's Salt Water Grill did not disappoint!

   Staff was friendly, prompt and knowledgeable. Cocktails were excellent. The food was amazing and exactly what we have come to expect from Tortugas. The mussels were perfectly cooked and delicious. My wife’s’ go-to is the shrimp and grits. I always taste her dish and regret not ordering it. I had the Parmesan crusted flounder, which is think is the best fish dish on the island. We took 3 fiends who had never been to Tortugas and they all raved about the food. Great experience and proves again why it’s our favorite spot on the island!

   Food average. Oysters small and high $$$. Service was ok. Loud and not packed. Typical beach restaurant. Actually no where in Port A to get exceptional high end seafood. Still, we go back every year.

   Great seafood and steaks; always consistent. Every time we go to Port A, Tortuga's is always on the itinerary. By the way, please get the bar some help. It takes forever to get served and has been the case the past three visits.

   The food was fantastic and the service was impeccable but we were seated in the booth closest to the kitchen and there was a lot of noise and a bit of a smell. Not sure what the smell was but it was one sort of funk. Maybe avoid that table if possible.

   Our server, and dang it, I forgot his name, was the best!! A pleasant polite young man who knew his job, knew his customers and knew his restaurant. Kudos to his parents for raising such a nice young man! We have been before but brought new friends who had not. I raved about the Lobster Bisque soup to them as I had it several times before. This time however, although still tasting good, was loaded with salt. I could not eat it the way it was and brought most of it home to try to make it edible. I told our server who passed it on to the chef. The chef tasted it and agreed it was way too salty but blamed the sous chef who had been so busy the day before he didn’t realize how much salt he had added to the soup. I had hoped they would take the cost off of my bill but they did not. Other than that, the food was delicious and our friends raved about it all the way home! The website, and Open Table, say nothing about being closed mid afternoon for menu turnover. We arrived at our reservation time to find the place closed until 3. They did, however, let us still on the patio to wait for them to open. We will be back and hope the Bisque is less salty and that that terrific server is still the

    Enjoyed the breeze on the patio, great Bloody Mary and attentive service too! Thankful they subbed out shrimp so I could enjoy a grits based meal. We all enjoyed our meals and all the tables around us were happy too / made for a great upbeat atmosphere
