As of January 1st 2022, in order to make a reservation at Calabra Rooftop, a non-refundable $5 reservation fee per person will apply. This fee guarantee's seating space. In case of cancellation or no-show this fee will not be refunded. Walk-ins will be welcome any time but will be based on availability. We have been challenged in the last few months with last-minute cancellations and no-shows, making it harder for us to see you as often as we would like, as our reservations appear more limited than they are in actuality. Our goal is an accurate depiction of our availability to allow our staff to better accommodate you.

Calabra was an exceptional experience. Could not have asked for a better place to dine. Beautiful decor throughout the Proper Hotel and Calabra on the rooftop was the crowning beauty. Food, service, ambience was chic and classy without the usual LA pretense.

$18 bottles of water and $32 appetizers with a few slivers of fish is not reasonable or a good value. The ambiance is lovely but service and food were unimpressive. I recommend it for a view and overpriced drinks

We loved the service, atmosphere & vibe of Calabra and would definitely return. But the best part of the meal we thought was the bread & dips at the beginning. Delicious! The salad with goat cheese was sort of wilted; the Brussel sprouts were over balsamic'ed (or whatever was on them); the salmon was under-cooked. Honestly, it was a great night out, a lot of fun! But we felt the food needs better preparation.

Have been to Calabra a few times and always loved it. Was excited to bring some friends who have never been. Unfortunately, the food was not great this time. Seems the menu changed, perhaps the chef too? So bummed. Really wanted to love it again, but we didn't.

Everett was our server. He seemed a little bit annoyed with us. Not sure if it’s because we didn’t drink alcohol or something else. He said the right things and took care of the basics but seemed to be a bit dismissive of us for the whole night - though we did get our food and anything else needed. Just seemed off.

Unfortunately hostess quite rude - preferred to help people without a reservation and ask us to stand in the cold by the toilets when we had a reservation and could have been sat. Didn’t take the feedback well- just listened but didn’t offer even a verbal acknowledgment that things could have been handled differently. Feedback relayed to manager who came by spontaneously to check in (as we wanted to drop the issue and enjoy dinner whe finally sat) - manager did acknowledge he would review feedback but didn’t offer any apologies or even come back to check how dinner was. Management could be improved. Our server and bussers were great Food was delicious.
