We made two 6 person reservations via two separate Open Table accounts for brunch the morning after my wedding. One of the reservations never went through it seems, so when we arrived there was extra effort made to accommodate us, which was greatly appreciated. What wasn't appreciated was the attitude of the hostess. We were told "you basically ruined our day" and being that we were seated near the host station, we were within earshot of her complaining about us to multiple other employees. She also informed the next party that we were essentially to blame for them being held up. I'm aware there are processes in place and our party apologized for the error and thanked her for making it work. However, we were still treated like a party bus of 25 just arrived and demanded seating during the dinner rush. Mind you there were several empty tables around us the entire time. The waiter was phenomenal, as was the food, but the hostess' behavior was like nothing any of us have experienced before.

We always eat here before shows at PPAC and it’s always a fantastic meal in a modern, fun atmosphere…it can be a little crowded but that’s because it is so good!

Service was very good and food was excellent. The restaurant was empty whe. We got there since it was a Wednesday night. Ordered the cheese plate and some wine and had the braised short rib over papardelle which was very good. The portions, however, were kind of small considering the entree was priced at $36. Would definitely go back but just get a few apps to share.

Do not know why it was empty on Labor Day when so many restaurants that were open were full. I parked on the street right in front of Circe. Service was professional and pleasant. Food was good ; no complaints. Décor interesting, good light level. Music not too loud or raucous. 2 glasses of Italian wine, shared arugula salad, fish taco appetizer size sufficed for her; I had mushroom pasta. With high tip is wa $100 even.

This was our first time at Circe and it didn’t disappoint! We went for our one year wedding anniversary and the hostess greeted us with warm wishes, and our server capped our night off with complimentary champagne! Our salad appetizer was great, and our main dishes were incredible (mushroom bolognese and the lobster ravioli). Highly recommend!

I will start by saying Alex was amazing. Staff friendly and tried very hard to be as accommodating as they possibly could. I have been to the restaurant now five or six times. Because every time we've been it's been for dinner all for lunch we wanted to try the brunch menu. The selections sounded very tasty. We had a starter of the pork belly hash. Probably the worst thing I've had there and most likely the worst thing I've tasted. It was planned and had no flavor no seasoning to the potatoes and very very little pork belly. If you call something pork belly hash I'm expecting to see a lot of pork belly since it's the first thing listed. The dish was basically cubed potatoes. The chicken and waffles was a huge portion and my friend thought that they were delicious but it should be shared it was too big for him. Myself and my other companion both had the short rib Benedict. The hollandaise sauce was different but tasty but lacked lemon. The short rib had too much gravy and not enough short ribs for the price but it was definitely tasty. I ordered the spicy meatball drink. the concept and the idea of the drink really intrigued me but being that I designed cocktail s the drink had too many sugary mixers. St germain, peach puree, and a cracked black pepper simple syrup is way too much sugar for one cocktail in my opinion the citrus and the drink was not enough to balance it and I didn't get enough heat. But what I will say is that the bartender and Alex was so willing to work with me till the drink was more to my satisfaction less sweet and more peppery. The presentation of the drink was great. The other thing that was disappointing is that we had to go food but they gave us and was able to fit in this cute little tiny box but the bags were ginormous and made no sense for such a little to go box. They should seriously order some bags that a tiny box won't be swimming in. We tried it I might give it one more try. Wasn't a hit but wasn't a total mess either.

Always amazing. The management here is second to none and know how to run a restaurant and genuinely care about the customers they serve. The food is always fresh and one of the ONLY places I will ever eat lamb!

Beautiful restaurant and amazing staff. Eddy made me feel very welcome and took great care of me. The food was good — though I thought the potatoes were bland. I did enjoy the cheese plate but thought it wasn’t a lot of food for the money. As an appetizer, perhaps that’s to be expected. That said, I enjoyed myself and would go back.

The food was a little pricey but good. Not the best in the world but what really stood out to me was the service. My waiter, he was amazing. That made every penny worth it. I would definitely recommend for the experience and great ambience for a date.

I've always loved bringing colleagues and students to Circe, however last night I was initially a bit disappointed. My executive assistant made my reservations as she always does but when I arrived and was be escorted to my table, it was right next to the kitchen. The restaurant wasn't packed so I was a bit surprised. I discreetly let the host know that I never sit near the kitchen. They accommodated me but seemed surprised by my reaction. I understand they may not be as sensitive to this kind of thing as I am because I've had this experience more times than I can count. With that being said, the food was fabulous.

Great place to have dinner or celebrate a special event. The GM, Carlo was great. He came over to our table ( party of 6) to introduce himself and even sent over a birthday treat. Great food, beautiful location. Last but not least, the server was wonderful too.

Don't pay attention to the stars had to do that just to get to this point. My problem with them and Open table as well is that I reserved a table for 11:15pm drove all the way from Boston to Providence and when we got to Circe I was told that the kitchen was closed, so why TF would y'all have tables for reservation at 11:15 if the kitchen closes at 11?

This restaurant is beautiful and classy on the inside. We arrived at 5:30 as we had a show to attend and the place was just about empty. There was one gentleman at the bar and a couple at the front of the restaurant. We were promptly seated but with the empty restaurant we were seated in the very last seat across from the coffee station and looking into the kitchen at the dishwashing station. This was really ridiculous to seat us there with an Empty restaurant. We didn't ask to sit elsewhere but we wished we had because we could hear the dishes being cleaned in the kitchen and had a terrible view. Despite that we had an excellent meal. We ordered the lamb lollipop appetizer which was excellent and the sauce was so good we could have scooped it up if we had spoons. We both got the Bacon wrapped tenderloin but substituted the fig and mascarpone ravioli for the gorgonzola ravioli. Everything came out hot and was delicious. The meat was cooked perfectly and the seasoning was just right. We also got the death by chocolate dessert which was five mini chocolate desserts. It was outstanding. I would highly recommend this place. Just make sure they don't stick you in the last seat in the restaurant.

I selected this restaurant from Open Table based on the reviews, multitude of photos, menu selection of tapas (small plates), and location. It DID NOT DISAPPOINT!! Very loud restaurant. Music is so loud, makes everyone have to yell at each other. The tables are also really close together so having a date here may be awkward. Food took a while to come out. Long gap between appetizers and mains coming out. Overall, food was delicious. Price of the menu does not fit the ambiance of the restaurant.
