I really enjoyed their oyster charisma. The sorbet + truffle emulsion baked oyster was both delicious and fun. The truffle pasta was creamy and decadent but lacked sodium. Surprisingly large for an appetizer Striplojn portion was underwhelming - very small and was not very marbled. There was more sauce than food Scallop crudo was citrusy + refreshing however the portion was tiny and a little too salty. Cocktails were excellent! One of the best espresso martinis I’ve had. Our server was warm And very knowledgeable. I would come back for appys + drinks.

Wonderful menu and a lot of attention in the plate. However the room is noisy like hell, this is a killer for me for this kind of high end place. We could even not hear the music and bearly each other. The service is good but not exceptional. So overall 3 stars, thanks to the chef!

Nous avons eu une superbe soirée au club chasse et pêche! C’était personnellement ma première fois et j’ai été ébloui par le menu de grande qualité et le service très professionnel et chaleureux de toute l’équipe! Les conseils pour le vin étaient parfait et avons eu une soirée parfaite! Merci encore!

THANK YOU for making my 60th birthday a special day that will stay with me forever. Helen and Gabriel are superb human beings, and so are all the workers of Le Club. This place is the best in Montreal for its ambiance and quality of food. I have known this place for 15 years. I am Italian and live in NY, and this is the absolute best place where you can dine and feel good about yourself.

Nous sommes allés dans ce restaurant pour notre premier anniversaire de mariage. C'était une expérience fantastique ! La nourriture, l'atmosphère et le service sont très bons. Nous avons eu des huîtres avec "charisma" et du risotto au porc pour nos entrées, et du cerf ainsi que le plat "chasse et pêche" pour le dîner. Tout était délicieux !

What can I say? I’ve been to “Le club chasse et Pêche “ a few times and the food the service and the ambience is always excellent!! A special shoot out to our waitress Dominique she is exceptional. When reserving diffidently ask to be seated in her section. Also let’s not forget about our Hostess or “maître D” Helen. Such a welcoming smile and makes everyone feel a little bit special at your table. Incredible staff all around & this is what a 5 star restaurant should be. In closing, other restaurants are pretenders but “ Le club chasse et Pêche “ is the real deal.

Parfois les plats d’un restaurant sont particulièrement réussis et en ce soir du 20 octobre, l’entrée de pintade, le plat de cerf et le dessert de fruits étaient extraordinairement bons. Un des meilleurs repas (coûteux mais le vaut pleinement) à Montréal depuis longtemps. Excellent service. Vin de Californie intéressant. Vraiment! chapeau!

The food and service were impeccable. Our server went out of her way to make us comfortable. Unfortunately, while we had chosen this restaurant as the noise level was supposed to be moderate. it was *very* loud, in part because we were seated next to a large boisterous group. This wasn’t helped by heavy bass music, which was turned on louder once said group left until our sever asked them to lower it, All the food was excellent, with special mention of the oysters with lemon and thyme granita, the daily special of lacquered pork cheek with lobster, and the unusual but delicious cherry tomatoes with melon dessert. Also the chocolate butterscotch “bûche”. Again, our server was perfect. But because of the noise, she had no choice but to get close and very loud n order to explain the menu, take our orders etc… We would definitely go back for the food, but would be much more careful in requesting a quieter table. Access is a bit of pain, with a couple of dangerously dark and uneven steps at the entrance and near the reception area - really treacherous for elderly people.

One word to describe this place - EXCELLENCE! The food was outstanding full on flavor and everything was prepared to perfection. One of the best meals I’ve ever had. Wait staff was super attentive.

Le Club Chasse et Peche is amazing. We have been here a number of times. The food is fabulous and creative. The pasta with blue fin tuna on top was so fresh and such an interesting mix of flavors and textures. We had the foie gras. It tasted just like a peanut butter and jelly sandwich like our waiter Gabriel said it would. We also had the scallops which are one of my favorites with their lemon curd sweetness. If you like wine their list is unbelievable and we love finding wines we can’t get in the states. I highly recommend the restaurant the staff and food is one of the best in Montreal.
