   Such a great place! A lovely eatery for south side. The space is beautiful, especially the upstairs. The food was delicious, made an entire meal out of appetizers & salads. This is our new go-to.

   The food was very good. They were short staffed, so it took quite a while to get our meals, but our server worked very hard to keep us in the loop.

   This was my first time at bonfire and I really loved it! The food and service were great and it was a lovely place to meet for brunch. Would definitely recommend and go back!

   Went out with my wife on Valentine's Day. Had 7:00 reservations. Tried to order the chicken meatballs but they were out. Tried to order the pesto pear flatbread and they were out of that as well. It was a little disappointing that so early evening on Valentine's Day that they would be out of certain menu items. The cauliflower mac and cheese I eventually ordered was delicious. We were seated in the front section by the window, where the tables for two were no more than 2 feet apart. It felt like we were dining in a party of 6. To be fair, those were the only tables in the restaurant that were that close together, but it was not an ideal situation for a Valentine's date with my wife. Had I sat somewhere else, and they were not out of menu items my rating would have been higher. Might have just caught them on a bad night.

    Bonfire continues to be our favorite spot. Chef’s menu is creative and delicious. It never disappoints. From appetizers, to mains, to desserts, and to cocktails, we are always happy with our choices. Amanda’s attention to service is remarkable and her recommendations for cocktails and wine pairings are spot on. We can’t wait to return.

    This was one of the best meals I've had in a while! The crispy Brussels sprouts were unique and flavorful, the vegetarian pasta dish was smoky and delicious, and the lemon dessert was light and fresh. We also tried 3 cocktails, all of which were tasty and original. I wish I didn't live 4 hours away or this might be my new go to spot!

    Always a treat when I get to spend an evening at Bonfire! Delicious food, impeccable service and perfect vibe. They were crazy busy - both floors were FULL - but the staff kept up seamlessly and didn’t miss a beat! I couldn’t recommend this place more. Consistently one of my favs!!

    Everything about this place is awesome. The food was well prepared and everything was delicious- the brussels sprouts may be my new favorite everything. The bartender clearly took her time crafting the cocktail menu. I love rotating seasonal local draft options. The staff was super friendly and attentive. I’ll be back for sure.

    Very good dinner. The salmon tartare was excellent. Service was good but it took a very long time to get a wine sample and then even longer to get a bottle of wine. Pulling a bottle of wine and grabbing a couple of glasses should take about a minute- we waited about 15 minutes for the sample and another 10-15 for the bottle. We weren’t in any rush so not a big deal except we would have liked to enjoy a glass before we got food. Other than that the food and experience were very good. We would go back

    Bonfire is always on point with delicious food, great service, and chill atmosphere. One of my wife’s and I favorite spots in the burgh, we eat here at least once a month or more.

    Location and food were wonderful. Neil, our server, was kind and helpful. A very nice meal and people were happy to be enjoying a delicious lunch in such an historic location. We would recommend anyone looking for a beautiful location to enjoy the history of such a great city to plan a visit.

    My wife and I went out for a little date night. I thought Bonfire looked interested. Nice spot in a good location on the South Side of Pittsburgh. The food was very good, though the Beet salad lacked beets and was over-salted. The steak tartare and bone marrow was fantastic. The service was phenomenal, Isabelle had as covered all night long. Good spot I highly recommend.

    The food here was absolutely fantastic. We had baked ricotta and roasted brussel sprouts as an appetizer, and the porch chip and roast chicken as our entrees. Everything was so delicious and our server was phenomenal. Would absolutely go here again!

    We had a reservation at 12pm on Saturday, with movie tickets for a 1:30 show at the Waterfront. We were seated immediately, and ordered our food shortly after being seated. 40 minutes passed with no food or check in from our server. We finally had to wave down someone to go check on our food. We ended up having to leave without eating so we could catch our show. No idea how the food is, because we never got a chance to try it :( The ambiance is nice- it’s a small place. Just wish we would have been given a heads up that the kitchen was running extremely behind that day.

    It is so nice to see a local restaurant working so hard and surviving after Covid. Our party of three had a great experience as soon as we entered. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. She guided us through the decision making process as we settled on the shishito app and Brussels app. Both wonderful. Two of us had salads with chicken. The wedge was fab. One had a flatbread. We each ordered a house special drink that was terrific. It consisted of Tito’s, pomegranate, lime, sage. The perfect holiday drink. The wine was just ok but they are in the process of enhancing their wine program so we will be sure to return soon. The ambiance was energetic and lively. Loved it! Great night! Kudos to all of their service people, bartenders, chefs…for maintaining a high quality restaurant experience.

    Bonfire has been a great addition to the southside. It features nostalgic dishes from the days of Avenue B. The have a variety of upscale main dishes like the hanger steak to more casual flat bread type plates. Great cocktails too!
