Outstanding in every way. The restaurant is in the lobby of the Four Seasons hotel in Westlake Village, but is very welcoming to local residents. The atmosphere for this time of the year was festive, the food is always high quality and the service is professional and friendly. Among other dishes, my party had the Snapper, the Swordfish, the Beef Wellington and the Burger. Everyone was happy with their meal.

I have been here before. This time the service lacked. Food came out later than anyone elses. The drinks came out after food was served. They were not busy either. Miscommunication from server to kitchen it seems. Food was great as usual. The huevos rancheros and creme brulee french toat were very good!

Service from Dylan, Ian and the Manger Georg was perfect. Wine select and deserts along with a surprise port wine ready was great. I can not say enough about the service. The ambiance as always is 10 stars a must see even if you do not dine.

Excellent service, fantastic, food, and a lovely venue. For starters, I had the lobster roll for lunch. It was absolutely decadent… Chock-full of firm lobster meat and drenched in a creamy remoulade-like sauce… to die for! For dinner one evening, we had the octopus appetizer – very tender and flavorful - and the red snapper entrée, and which was simply sensational. Overall, what I really enjoyed about Coin & Candor is the layer of subtle flavorings infused through each course. You can tell a lot of time attention and talent go into the making of every dish.

First, so impressed with how friendly hostesses and servers were. Ordered sourdough bread, delicious and Pan De Muerto, light and also delicious. Very disappointed no soup options. Ordered 2 appetizers, octopus and the butternut ravioli, octopus very good, ravioli too much sauce. Our main course was the red snapper and the carne asada. The red snapper was a good size portion, tasty but should have been crispy. Carne asada was small portion, salty and was lost on the plate. We ordered corn as a side dish to share. That was just ok. We felt overall the meal was overpriced and portions were small.

Been here numerous times. Tonight was a bit off. Sunday night. They were out of a couple things. One dish was not as good as usual. Overall service was fine. I will give them another chance but not impressed for the price as it is expensive. It’s in the Four Seasons so it should have been better.

Would not expect Coin & Candor to be the main restaurant at the 4 Seasons. It's just ok. Outside overlooks a beautiful garden but inside seating feels more like an upscale diner....nothing special. Food is good, service is excellent but unless you're staying at the hotel I don't think the restaurant is worth an extra trip. It's good for a casual breakfast or lunch with friends, don't think I'd chose it for dinner because of the ambience and relatively expensive cost.

Enjoyed another exceptional dinner at Coin & Candor! Especially enjoyed the new pork chop entree and the new butternut squash pasta as an appetizer. As usual, the warm bread was amazing (we selected the special daily "Chef's Bread") as was the dessert. The entire meal was excellent! We have enjoyed numerous delicious meals (breakfast, brunch and dinner) at Coin & Candor! Always great food and wonderful service! Already booked another reservation to enjoy some more of our favorite dishes at Coin & Candor again soon!

Disappointing, to say the least. Waited a long, long time both for the waiter to take our order and then for the food to arrive. My risotto was lukewarm. Food was uninspiring. Side of mushrooms was hard to cut through. Event taking place off the patio with a loud sound check going on. Not a place I plan to return to.

Lovely place for lunch. Lunch menu lacking however.Mostly dinner items I had called before going and was assured there were more sandwiches on menu not shown on web. There was just a hamburger Therefore becomes a very pricey place for lunch
