Really great appetizers! When I go back I'll lean heavily into these. Pastas were good and a really great value compared to other restaurants in the West Loop. We're not big meat eaters and prefer it in the smaller appetizer portions, so we didn't try any of the larger meat or fish dishes. The serving staff was great, but the kitchen got backed up and a couple dishes were slow in coming. But our server was aware of the back-up and brought us an extra dish at no charge to hold us over while waiting for the kitchen to catch up. I really recommend trying this place.

We love Cira and frequent it often and usually have amazing service. Our server today was pretty awful tbh, she never checked in with us outside of taking our initial order. Also my sons and husbands meals came out on time, mine came once everyone was done and they were clearing everyone’s plates. Definitely not the experience we are used to from here.

We came to Cira to celebrate our anniversary. I had noted that when I made the reservation but when we arrived, there was a nice note on the table signed by the staff to congratulate us. We also received a complimentary glass of champagne and a chocolate truffle each for dessert, this was totally unexpected but much appreciated! Our meal was outstanding. We started with the beet salad and burrata on sourdough, both had excellent flavors and were beautifully plated. We then had the mushroom cappellacci and the gnochetti. Absolutely delicious, I wanted to get a straw to drink the sauce. Thank you to the Cira team for making our evening lovely.

First visit to Cira and 4th night in a row dining out at nearby restaurants. (Beatrix was night before and the service was a solid F-) Cira’s food was great, but the service was the real star. Our server (Brian V.) was exceptional and also the support staff. Every person that walked by our table had eyes scanning on the table to see what might be needed. No one missed a step - flawless.
