Perched atop the Hoxton Hotel in the heart of Chicago’s Fulton Market, Cabra Chicago is a lively rooftop escape, inspired by the bold and vibrant flavors of Peruvian cuisine.

Led by James Beard Award and Top Chef winner Stephanie Izard (Girl & the Goat) alongside longtime partners Rob Katz and Kevin Boehm of Boka Restaurant Group, Cabra serves up crave-worthy dishes in a colorful and energetic setting.

The food is amazing. The views are gorgeous. The staff is lovely. In the summer it felt like a hot SOHO house party though. Was super loud and hot and hard to have a conversation. So if you go just prepare to have to yell.

The food was delicious. Everything that we ordered tested great. The main problem was that this restaurant air conditioner not good. It was very hot and uncomfortable inside. Specially in such hot days. We definitely come back but not in the summer

I had a patio reservation set for 9:30. I got there to check in and the hostess said we moved your reservation to the inside and the closest table we could get you is by a window. I don’t think it was fair to allow others who had no reservations to be seated in the patio when it was already booked. We didn’t want to sit down and eat anymore it ruined the experience we just walked up to the pool bar for one drink and left.

The HVAC was broken and it was over 90 degrees on the restaurant. The food was good but pricey some dishes like the Yukka fries were not good the pork and chicken good salmon ceviche and empanada not worth the price. The server brought us ice but really it was a lot of money to spend and be so uncomfortable. Ion the way out I tried to share feedback with the manager but before I could suggest that the next time the air is broken and it’s 95 to give customers a warning so we could decide if we wanted to come he interrupted insisted the air was working even though all windows open etc and clearly broken and was very rude. Clearly the HVAC in building worked because lobby was nice and cool. It was BS and gaslighting

We had an awesome dinner at Cabra! The ambiance was perfect for a fun summer night in Chicago. We had chorizo skewers, two different tuna apps, and the chicken thigh skewers (favorite). Our server was attentive and we also loved the bartender Juan! Great time at Cabra.

I enjoy lively , but that room was NOISY ...I'll have a hard time going back , especially at happy hour time Server was good, the staff was accommodating, but I did feel like my group was being urged after awhile to move along...

Stephanie Izzard does it again. The food at Cabra is SO good. We shared four dishes for two people, and we went home with leftovers because the pork shank is huge. But strong recommendation for the pork shank... absolutely delicious with four dipping sauces, fruit, and pita bread. Beautiful rooftop location at the top of the Hoxton hotel, and a very lively and popular place. Service was great and love the attention to food allergies at Izzard's restaurants. The fact that they have specific allergen menus is something very few places in the states do, but it goes a long way with customers. Was around $150 for two people with one cocktail, before tip.

Our server and the manager went out of their way to accommodate our dietary restrictions. The food was also delicious!
