    food was very good. service was also very good. The experience was marred by the incredibly loud rock music being played. It definitely put a damper on our first meal there. I don't understand why, at 6:30, a serious restaurant would play music one would expect at a rock bar. And loud! Should have eaten outside. Probably won't go back. Too bad.

    Sangria was funominal. Food was very good. 30 something for 3 regular sized scallops was a little much. But they were good. Somewhat noisy with the music.

    Amazing! The food was delicious and the chicken parmigiana was large enough for 2 people to share. The watermelon salad was so good. We were disappointed we share an order instead of having one each. Can’t remember our Waiters name but he was great. Definitely coming back before the end of summer for the salad.

    Everything was great! The food from appetizers, cocktails and dinner was amazing. All 6 people were there for the first time and everyone enjoyed their experience. Service was exceptional. We would go again!!

    Great Father’s Day dinner for my FIL. They had a great deal for a spring Prix Fixe, and were very professional and attentive to my in-laws who are very particular as they used to own a high-end restaurant. Loved the open kitchen where we could see the steaks being grilled, and all the food was perfect! The meatball was something else, and to get it to taste so good, despite being as large as a softball took skill.

    Firs time visit for a birthday, which was noted when the reservation was made. The service was good but not special. The receptionist was friendly and welcoming. The food was very good for a neighborhood restaurant. Given that the reservation form sought an indication of a special occasion for the visit, it seemed to not register at all with the restaurant. In the final analysis, we will go back to sample more of the menu.

    Excellent food! Noise level is very loud. Server was adequate. After waiting for about 10 minutes for our server to come to the table, after we were seated - he provided basic service. Nothing great or above the minimum. He wasn’t rude - but he wasn’t nice either. This was our 2nd time dining @ Locale. 1st time was fabulous! This time was adequate, due to the server. Unfortunately our server didn’t do the restaurant any favors. (Can’t remember his name for sure, but he has a top-knot man bun & glasses). I’m sure any other server & it would have been perfectly fabulous like the 1st time.

    We’ve been meaning to try this place for a while now and since we saw the restaurant week menu we gave it a try. It’s on the opposite side of the world for us but we wanted to check it out and restaurant week gave a good excuse. The service was great as was the ambiance. My only complaint was the appetizer included in the set menu, crispy calamari. They were a bit well done, hence the crispy, but they were pretty rubbery. Like I said all good except that.

    My wife and I eat out 99.9% of all meals. We have never both been blown away by the food and service we had here. It's a shame it was slow on a Thursday night. This place blows strip food away, prices and taste. Do NOT pass this place up if you have an opportunity to come. It's a bit out of the way (only downfall) but well worth it! We will put this on the list of regular places we eat for now on.

    Last year, I was critical of Locale Italian Kitchen for overcooking the pasta in my Rigatoni Bolognese. I gave them an average rating for the mishap. An Italian restaurant cannot overcook pasta. I wanted to give Locale another chance. I had the Bolognese again. I was able to substitute pappardelle for the rigatoni. It was cooked perfectly…al dente. Our waiter, Alex, was prompt and there when/if we needed him. The evening could not have been better.

    Wonderful staff, Arturo our server was polite and welcoming!! Told us of specials of the week, was very attentive throughout our dining experience, and invited us back soon. Food was excellent from abraised short rib meal to seafood parpardelle. Absolutely outstanding.

    Despite being in the top 10 of Vegas Magazine's "The 27 Best Italian Restaurants in Vegas", I was really underwhelmed. Positives: The service is excellent, the restaurant is cozy. Not so positive: The food was not stellar. The calamari was incredibly tough to chew and the portions are not proportionate to the cost. There was an error with my partner's meal and he told the server just as a heads-up, expecting nothing. They delivered a complimentary dessert. That was generous and unexpected. Again, the service is excellent. I'm sure it is not a bad restaurant and I'd offer it as an option if someone was in the neighborhood. I'm just not sure it's worth the drive or cost for us.

    I hadn’t been to Locale since they first opened, I live on the far north end of the valley and was looking forward to introducing my wife to a great homemade Italian restaurant for Mother’s Day. We were sat right away which was great, but then it went downhill from there. After 45 min the waitress apologized and said the kitchen was backed up, I watched tables that were sat after us get there food and watched two tables there before us leave without ever getting there’s. After an hour again the manager this time apologized and said the drinks were on the house. Now an hour and fifteen minutes the food finally came well three of the dishes did the last was a few moments later. My carbonara was cold and congealed already and my wife’s eggs were tasteless. I’m not sure if there was a change in management or kitchen staff but there’s no excuse for the poor quality and wait time. The manager did comp about half the bill but I’d much rather get a well cooked meal in a timely manner no matter the price! There would have to be a major change in the restaurant for me to go back!

    My husband and I visited this restaurant yesterday evening. We had never been before and found that is wasn’t too far from our home. We ate outside and it was a perfect Nevada spring evening. Our waitress was great. We asked a lot of questions and we decided that we really wanted to try the short rib gnocchi for an appetizer. We were blown away. It was spectacular. The sauce was a fresh made marinara sauce which we have never had with gnocchi before and I scraped the pan clean it was so good. Also the bread was fresh and hot and just amazing. I ordered a local old fashioned as well as a pecan at you (another whiskey drink) and was very pleased. For a main course I got the salmon and the sweet pea risotto and they were both to die for. My husband got the rigatoni in a meat sauce and it was equally as delicious. To top it off the tiramisu was probably the best I have ever had. We will most definitely be returning often. This place is now at the top of my dining out lists!

    Everything was great until the server dumped some of the steak drippings off the plate onto my boyfriend’s lap and stained his pants. He just apologized and didn’t offer to take anything off the bill. Major faux pa! I work in customer service. That should be a given. It cost him on his tip instead. I told my boyfriend to get a manager but he didn’t want to be a Karen.
