service was good but the food is terrible. The rice was not fully cooked, and after I told them, the only thing they did was replaced a new one. But the rice was still not fully cooked.

Facilities and services were good. Some food (Umaki, honesenbei) were good. I tried kantou-style unagi and my wife tried kansai-style unagi. The eel(kantou-style) was not as soft as I expected. Different from ones we experience in Japan. The eel(kansai-style) was not our choice. But we enjoyed the cleanness, quietness and the good services.

Way overpriced for what you get. The quality of the food and the ambience of the restaurant do not live up to the price. If it were just incredibly special eel in a really nice environment, I could justify paying almost $100 for lunch for one person. But the atmosphere is actually not special at all – a very ordinary slightly wornout-looking space (and there was a funny smell near my table). The service is very casual, not at all like in a high-end restaurant. And the unagi was good but nothing discuss. Definitely not as good as what I’ve eaten in Japan.

The food is good overall, but the rice in the Unagi rice bowl is a little bit tough. Also it is a little of overpriced.

The Unagi is truly amazing. Worth the wait! Hint....get one or two small apps to pair with Sake once seated. The Unagi does take awhile to be served. This keeps your stomach busy while wait.
