Its always awesome here, chef always comes and greets everyone and tells us about the menu and specials. And does an awesome job cooking and everything. Ambiance is always on point, easily one of the best restaurants in westchester.

We had such a great time! Food was great—- although we wished they had a children’s menu or a side of Mac n cheese! BUT we all enjoyed everything and the desserts were fabulous! Will definitely go back!

We had lunch on Sunday. The menu is interesting however there are no low carb options. Fairly noisy due to music and young children.

This was a fabulous experience-from the moment we walked in we were transported back to the 70s, a place we love to be. The food is creative and well prepared-the staff is engaged, personable and quirky, The drinks were unique and tasty! We had the special treat of the owner-the chef’s wife visiting our table on a few occasions to chat and learn more about why we were there and if we were enjoying the experience. We plan to return and decided already that we wanted to work our way through this menu.

Yum! Comfort food/diner food only better. Stickofbutter pie omg! Our server was really good and everyone was friendly. Heard great things and finally made it there. Highly recommend. We can’t wait to go back and try more.

Third time was as disappointing as the first two. It’s a shame, I want to like it; but, I just can’t figure out how to eat from the menu. That being said, nothing was especially good, but rather middle of the road.

Casual restaurant with a cool retro atmosphere. Portions were on the small side. New spin on traditional diner food. I had the beet Ruben sandwich and it was greasy and tasted a little strange. Not bad just off somehow. For what it is it’s extremely overpriced. The biggest surprise however was to see foie Gras on the menu. A new trying to be hip restaurant should be more ethically conscious these days. Very disappointed about it and just for that reason won’t go back.

A throwback but with a modern take on food. The brunch choices especially the preparation of eggs and from what we could see other dishes were great. Will definitely be back.

down to the last detail, this place was a perfect replica of my parents 1970's basement. just gorgeous and immaculate. the service was gracious and friendly, the food was outstanding, and the ambiance was just great. i honestly can not think of anything negative to say. can not wait to go back. thank you for such an amazing place!

First time to the area, ate here on a friend's recommendation for a Valentine's Day date and I'm so happy I did! The servers very nice and accommodating, the food was superb, and the price was very reasonable for the quality. I will definitely be back the next time I'm in the area.

Picking between the French toast and pancakes is tough. Both are different, delicious and worth the calories. The syrup is sweet and the butter pat on top is a generous pat so it would be good to get them on the side The pastrami sandwich is also delicious. The coffee is really good so if you can handle the caffeine, get it!!!! We were too full to order more, but we’ll be back.

We loved Eugene's first time we were there. Service was sup optimal, but owners were present and making sure things were working. Since then, we went another 5 times - food quality is definitely going down, service just as bad, but now without anyone paying attention to it. i loved the market fish the first time ... last time was super fishy, oily, and had a bunch of mustard straight from the bottle on top , missing the almonds ... a mess! milkshake was more a chocolate milk ... warm and way too sweet super sad, bc we were very excited to have a great dinner close to greenwich

A fun and retro decor. The menu offers a fun variety of "past" dishes updated as well as casual contemporary fare. The staff is young and friendly, although at times, forget a request, such as coffee refill or half/half and have to be reminded. The hostess was accommodating and was able to find us a booth instead of a table. The crispy fried eggs were really crispy and crunchy and delicious. Should have asked for the butter on the side for the waffles, as it was served on top. But it was whipped butter, so melted into the waffle nicely and we didn't have to slather it in, although there was quite a bit of butter. The shake was really thick and the straw stood up straight in it. Excited to go back and try some other dishes.

Reserved a TABLE through OpenTable, but when we got there they sat us at the counter. The waitress made up for it by bringing us a brussel sprout app, but I hate brussel sprouts, lol! Very kind of her though. Food was average, however, my cocktail the Tiki Tiki Tiki was off the hook. I had two! Wait staff was very attentive.

Met friends after work. Great atmosphere. Our server was friendly and knew the menu well. I enjoyed the double cheeseburger and my friends the inside out grilled cheese. Peanut butter pie was awesome! The yodel wasn’t.

My wife loved her GF crispy eggs and sweet potato and I loved my French toast. Service was overall VG. It was the foie gras that disappointed. It was the suggested accompaniment to the French toast on the menu and when I saw it as such I presumed it would be a seared hot rare rich unctuous piece of goose liver that would’ve been the perfect counterpoint to the sweet indulgence of the French toast! What I received for the $12 up charge was a piece of cold goose liver smaller than the size of my thumb that was more of a tiny terrine of foie gras than the pan seared variety I was expecting. The menu was misleading. It should’ve specified that it was cooked through and served cold. Other than that it was very good. The French toast was one of the best I’ve eaten.

Amazing. Order everything. Waffles and bone marrow rocked my world- no syrup needed. TV dinner was excellent. Brussels sprouts are killer. My boyfriend said the cheeseburger was the best he has had and this spot is his new favorite place in Westchester. I live down the street... I may just move in to Eugene’s. Also, rainbow cake for dessert- stellar. Had the Cheech Loves Chong to drink- insanely amazing mezcal cocktail. Owners were lovely. Service was great.

Love this place. We ate at the counter. I highly recommend it so you can see the kitchen at work. The counter experience goes well with the whole vibe of the place as well which is fun. The staff is having fun too which is always a good sign.

I usually wait to review a restaurant after a few visits, but you can just tell this place has it. From the staff to the meal to the ambiance -- it was awesome. The fluffy pancakes are a can't miss (I say share them as a not-too-sweet dessert). Matzo soup on point (that bone broth tho... Amazing). And the hash browns are salted blocks of crispy perfection. Oh! And the salt and pepper eggs are like nothing I've ever tried before! So simple but so good. Mike (our server) was so knowledgeable and friendly. Chef Dave even came by for a hello. Can't wait to come back!
