   After having read some positive reviews about this place, we decided to give it a try on Saturday night. Hands-down, the most wonderful experience in dining. Attentive, timely service without being doting… outstanding wine list… And food that was nothing short of delicious. The antipasti and the entrées were perfectly sized portions to enjoy and share a little with your friends. The Pollo Dolce Vita was delicious! And we all shared some tiramisu to cap off the evening and it was light and airy. We can’t wait to come back and try something else. Most importantly… The staff was so extremely helpful and nice… Always smiling and happy. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

   I really like this place and consistently it’s been good but this past experience was a little off from all my previous (4) visits. The food was slow coming, even though there wasn’t a lot of people and the portions seemed to have shrank. Could be a sign of the times. I really like this place and hope it’s just a one off.

   A quaint restaurant with a decent Italian menu. A little off the beaten path from the hustle and bustle of Time Square / Broadway but walkable from that area. Great service, homemade pasta and specials were the highlights (also good bread). A shared salad, two entrees, two glasses of wine and a dessert was $140 without tip. I would consider that standard for NYC. I would recommend as a choice for dinner.

   Very pleasant restaurant. Lovely ambiance ! Food was good . Portions were enough. Slightly expensive. Would return!

   This is a somewhat narrow and typical Italian bistro with a lovely garden room out back. In one sense it's unremarkable in that there a lot of similar-looking and seeming places. But the food is really delightful, the service friendly and efficient, the specials interesting and the wine list extensive and compelling. And they seem to really care. If you like this type of place this is a great example.

   We've been to Barolo many times because it's just great place to eat, very acccomodating and friendly service. Food is excellent, no matter what your choice is.

    Enjoyed our first visit to this restaurant. A lot of stairs but the multi-level space and the enclosed garden made this one of the more welcoming restaurants in the area. It was going to be a pasta night for the 4 of us and each had a different entree and all were excellent! Service was also top notch.
