Founded in 2017 by owner/operator Brandon Smith, a Washington Crossing native, who has been involved with Bucks County restaurants for over 20 years. Grey Stone, the hidden gem of Newtown, offers sophisticated American comfort food in a vibrant, upscale casual atmosphere - just 3 minutes from the Borough! We beautifully refurbished the property formerly known as Lavendar Hall, continuing the prestige from years' past as a staple of the Bucks County fine dining scene. The restaurant features a food menu, by talented Chef Robert McNally, that changes by season to utilize the freshest of local ingredients. Our bar has twenty four craft taps, a cosmopolitan wine list and a thoughtfully curated cocktail list - committing to all food & drink enthusiasts!               Another wonderful dining experience at Greystone. The salmon, braised pork shank, smash burger, steak sandwich, smoked gouda mac and cheese, truffle fries, and bar drinks were all fabulous. The waitress was wonderful, attentive, and kind. The manager, who brought us water (and plenty of lemon), always stops by and makes you feel at home. It was too hot to enjoy the beautiful patio, so we dined by a window overlooking the gardens and watched the deer walk by. Love it here. We will return soon.

              We had a wonderful Father's Day dinner. Food, atmosphere, and service were all perfect.

              Service wasn’t great. Long wait between apps and main entrees - almost 40 minutes. Waitress didn’t check in between or apologize for delay. Didn’t receive a side dish and then got it after asking at the end of the meal. Expected for this to be removed from the bill for the off timing, but it was not. Overall not worth the cost this time. Usually much better.

              Great drinks and meal. All the staff were accommodating and pleasant. A special “thank you” to Mary for the gift cards. Certainly not necessary but very appreciated. My daughter and I will definitely be back soon!

              Gorgeous outdoor area on a stone patio that has a wonderful vibe with string lights and spacious setup. Unfortunately the food is average at best (all 3 times I’ve been there).

              Only 2 servers for whole restaurant so slow service. The wine never showed up and 10 min after food arrived we went to the bar ourselves to get the wine which they smartly comped. Such a shame this nice place cannot keep good wait staff consistently as it would be a great go to place in the neighborhood.

              Love to outdoor atmosphere in the nice weather. Drinks are getting pricy as well as the food. Been coming for many years. Food is still good.

              Service was excellent! The food was just ok, especially for the price. I love raw oysters and get them whenever we eat out and they are on the menu. It is not that these were bad, they were simply tasteless. I think they were too cold and maybe that was why, IDK? The waitress and the chef were great about it, and even brought me out an extra three that he seasoned a little more. Unfortunately they were still tasteless. The fillet was good and the pork shoulder was excellent. The price for the fillet was a little much considering it was just good, not outstanding. The flourless chocolate cake was delicious however the lemon torte disappointed.
