    I consider Heirloom Tavern a neighborhood gem. The large menu covers a lot of turf and runs the gamut from basic comfort foods to some very creative specials. Definitely something for everyone. The food is consistently very good and prices are quite reasonable by today’s standards. Service is attentive, but not overbearing. My only negative comment is regarding the noise level.  When the restaurant is full, the noise level is certainly energetic.  Regardless, Heirloom Tavern is a wonderful restaurant and I continue to return time after time…

    Prices are definitely higher than the quality…I had a steak with fries and green beans…I liked the beans the best; the steak was thick and grainy but not bad. I found a hair in my food (not sure if it was the ketchup or the fries) after I’d eaten the beans and most of the steak, so let’s just say I ended the meal right there. The cheesecake was terrible, but I should’ve known better given it’s more of a bar/restaurant. The host was also our waiter so let’s just say he was not very attentive. It was my first and last visit. The friend that took me there said she generally just does drinks and appetizers, not entrees. Maybe that’s the way to go.

    Great service and a wonderful meal . Red snapper special , salmon burger , branzino and halibut were all delicious . Special cocktails well done and apple cobbler dessert w/ ice cream to finish .

    Just right for a Friday night dinner; service was great and so were our meals. The lamb porterhouse special and the snapper special were both delicious. And while the place was packed, the servers did a great job - even the host was pitching in, helping to clear tables. They do things right at Heirloom Tavern, which keeps us going back.

    Got my days mixed up, wasn’t Thursday for Paella, but was pleasantly surprised with Wednesday special of best Fried chicken I ever had!!! Don’t miss it…

    We had a fabulous pre-Father's Day dinner on Saturday night!! From the oysters and scotch eggs to the swordfish, lamb and pork chop (specials) the food was exceptional. The service is always outstanding!

    Another great experience dining at Heirloom. The watermelon salad was perfectly cool n refreshing on first hot day in Glen Head.

    Another fabulous meal, with us both trying new things. Despite Thursdsynifht Paella special, my husband opted for a Pork Loin sandwich which he thoroughly enjoyed! Never dissatisfied here @ HT.
