   Our waiter never fulfilled our request for more water and never checked on us after we received our food when we needed items to enjoy our meal. It was very frustrating! Also, the pasta dishes came several min before the pizzas so we all couldn’t eat at the same time. The food was excellent but considering the cost, service was severely lacking.

   Food was a bit of a disappointment this time around (we've eaten here many times). The gnocchi Sorrentino my child picked were like hard rocks. Very dough-y but the sauce was lovely. Not sure I could recommend these. Hubby and I opted for the menu items from the LA Restaurant Week - good deal for the $22 - but the food did not blow us away - "ok" Italian food at best. Service was a bit slow - our server must have been new - we had to follow up a few times for missing items (i.e., cocktails and then the wine). We opted to skip the desert - we were grossed out by the tray that rolls around between the tables highlighting the deserts -- no covering on the food, anyone could easily sneeze and cough all over the items. Just gross.

   Went for the $ 22.00 two course promotion. Bill for two was $96 plus tip, they employ bait and switch advertising. The 1 pizza ordered was extreme salty, the 1 pasta ordered was extreme dry. The appetizer was fresh and flavorful however was micro in size. I would never go again and not recommend as fine Italian cuisine.

    This place was awful . I’m sorry but we ordered a glass of wine and it showed up after three different requests at the end of the meal when the check was brought . Reservation was for 6:15 and the food came out so fast we were done at 6:30. The salad had 4 pieces of lettuce and four snow peas a The ravioli was not cooked and the plate was literally thrown onto the table . Then the pizza came and it was uncooked and slimey. The wine came at the same time the check was . We were not even offered dessert or anything . Date night for a Friday night in 15 min . Horrible experience .

    Very disappointing. Food was mediocre. Did the Restaurant Fest menu. Had to complain about salad as had almost none of the ingredients!? The Bolognese was bland. Also was being rushed. Server was very good

    Great waitress and staff with attentive service. Food wonderful. Oddly, all of the ceiling pendant lights kept flickering most of the evening. I kept looking up at the lights - only to reveal a thick cake of dust on all the pendants as well as burnt out bulbs. Eataly headquarters should keep on top of housekeeping.

    Food & drinks were mediocre. We ordered zucchini fritters which were doughy and under cooked. The gnocchi was blend and chewy. The one cocktail drink we ordered was very sweet. Overall the food was not up to the mark , not what you would expect in an Italian restaurant like Eataly. We were very disappointed.

    went there for the special they had this week: two courses for $20. I ordered the pasta and it was underwhelming. the salad and wine were good. my daughter's pizza tasted great.

    We enjoyed the spring special menu. It was really delicious. My only complaint, tho small - is it was $9 for a bottled ice tea. I could have had a wine spritzer for $1 more, I think. But other than that, was had a wonderful time and will be back again soon. Just will skip the iced tea :)

    Went to dinner at La Pizza & La Pasta with my friends. The two course dinner for $22 was pretty good. The zucchini fritters and pizza were delicious. The fritters just needed a little more seasoning. We also shared the build your own cannoli’s which were delish.

    We loved our entire meal at La Pizza & La Pasta! The food was delicious ... and since we did their Restaurant Fest menu, it was a great way to taste several dishes at a great value. Loved the ambiance - we really felt like we were in a hip, happening place. And the shopping after our meal was fun too!

    Tuna crudo had melt-in-your-mouth buttery texture with a bright splash of vinegar. It was my favorite dish, but note that portions are small. Gnocchi had wonderful texture, plus good cheese flavor--though I could hardly taste the black truffles I paid an extra $18 for. Entrees could have used a tad more seasoning. Fried zucchini appetizer was bland as well. Wine was excellent-- we had one Barbera and one Syrah. Dessert was awful--bone dry tiramisu. Surprising and disappointing because I've had wonderful tiramisu at other Eataly locations.

    Always had great experiences here before COVID but it had been so long before my wife and I had been there that we didn’t know what to expect. Happy to say we had the same great experience as always! Food was delicious and service was amazing! Pizza, pasta, and salad were spot on. Not sure why so many negative reviews of service here; maybe it’s you? 😮 Thanks to Cassandra for the perfect, knowledgeable service. Looking forward to going back soon!

    The current restaurant week menu they have is incredibly bland and because they’re producing the dishes in mass quantity, expect your pasta to be a little over/under. Stick to the regular menu and you won’t be disappointed.

    We were excited to enjoy a nice meal, but all of the food both the appetizers and the main meal came within five minutes of us ordering. We were excited to have a nice enjoyable meal, but felt very rushed and everything came at once.

    The ravioli’s were cold and not cooked through … not Al dente. The zucchini appetizer was very doughy, and salad was not dressed. We Loved the tagliatelle, burrata calamari, and drink’s!

    Totally meh, and I have no idea why. The menu reads like an Italian fantasy, but the plates were only ok. Perhaps an off day; I’ve dined at Eataly in a half dozen cities and go back again and again. Maybe it’s time for a change…

    I ordered the Insalata Primavera as an appetizer. My first bite was horrible. The greens tasted bland and like I was eating grass. I asked the waitress for dressing. She came back to the table and said “I’m sorry but I can’t give you any dressing, the cook refuses to give you any dressing” The salad consisted of two small pieces of asparagus, two pieces of butter lettuce, three pieces of zucchini and four snap peas, no vinegar and oil as indicated and no salt or pepper for $18. Is this a grift?

    Our server was nice, but it took 15 minutes just for us to get some water. Once we received water, the server left again. We ordered everything all at once to make sure we did not have to wait longer. Our pizza and pasta did not come out at the same time, and our food came before our drinks. The food was very tasty, but it nothing was thoughtfully served in the way it should be. There was only two of us at the table, so we were very low maintenance. We also asked for the dessert menu and never received it…

    The pizza is excellent. That was by far the best part of the meal. The pastas were all average at best. And the sauces were bland. Waitstaff was distracted, didn’t offer Parmesan with the meal and not knowledgeable about the menu. Overall a disappointing experience. Except for the pizza, which was authentic and excellent.
