Come join us at The New Hope Winery for lunch, dinner or a refreshing hand crafted cocktail. Located between Peddler’s Village and New Hope, The New Hope Winery offers classic, American fare with our own country twist. Growing from our original bistro that accompanied our wine pairing, we have been cooking up mouth-watering meals for over 5 years. With our incredible chef Larry Brown, formerly of The Raven, we are constantly expanding our menu with new and creative dishes. Our menu changes seasonally with local availability and we offer creative and delicious specials weekly. During warm times, we offer outdoor seating. Wine flights are available in addition to unique and delicious custom cocktails and we have live, local musicians performing during every meal. The restaurant was unprepared for the amount of customers they had that day. Wait times were long to even get an appetizer and when or salads did arrive, they were not as described. Two slices of cucumber and a sliver of tomato on greens does not make a salad. We waited a little over an hour and a half to get our entre and to our surprise both plates were cold and unacceptable. When I went to the Hostess she was apologetic and assured me another dish would be coming soon to replace the cold food. When our waitress brought the replacement meals, there was only a crabcake on the plate and no veggies or garnish. At this point I was angry as it was my Girlfriends Birthday dinner and it was not what I expected from the Pour House at New Hope Winery. I will say our waitress was super and when the bill came ( we were going elsewhere) the house removed all charges but the drinks we were served. There was a tension in the air when we arrived and the place was packed with patrons. I did observe several diners complain about wait times and food issues. This is the first time we had any problems and had eaten there several times before and enjoyed our meals. An observation I had is the "Chef" was overwhelmed as was the staff and as such it was not an enjoyable experience!

Rocco was excellent, we had such an amazing time celebrating our anniversary. Every wine we tried was good and we will definitely be back

This was our first time visiting The Tavern as we live an hour away. We ate there before a show, and we are so glad we did. First and foremost, we were lucky enough to have the best server ever. She was pleasant, efficient, informative and went above and beyond to ensure our experience was amazing. The food was better than we even expected. Presentation was clever and the meals were hot and deliciously prepared. From start to finish one of the best meals out we have had in years. Great job!!! And we will be back!!! Well worth the hour drive!!!

Rocco was an excellent waiter. The food, pulled pork, crab cake and tomato bisque were all very good. It was nice to be surprised with a live duo although we wish they would post what musicians will play when on their website. We very much hope to see Andrea Carlson there again.

Overall, a decent experience. Was not really a fan of my truffle flatbread. Bartender was nice, but not very attentive and never asked our friends who joined us later if they wanted a drink. This was to his detriment because we later moved to a table so the money and tip he could’ve made didn’t materialize for him. Our waiter was fine pleasant enough. The cheeseboard was a very good value and everyone else really enjoyed what they had to eat.

Had dinner before a show. Second time here. Unfortunately they were out of the chicken entree by 6 pm. The food we ordered however was delicious. Service is slow but could be bc they only have 1 server.

The food was fresh and excellent. Bailey’s cheesecake for dessert was easily the best cheesecake I ever had. Would definitely go back again. We went there to see a show and the place was packed but they made sure everyone got out in time to see the show. Will go again and highly recommend this place for food and also their music venue which was well set up.
