It was my first time trying this restaurant. It was spacious and the service was great. The menu is creative but the food was too salty and my grilled salmon was overcooked and too dry. I ordered the Wagamama salad and wish it didn’t have dried ramen noodles and all the pickles. I drank so much water and coffee afterwards.

We were a party of there. One entree came first, the second one came 5 min after and the last one came 25 min later. The waiters were MIA. Horrible experience. No apologies at all, the tips on the receipt, starting 18% was based on the total with tax.

I fell in love with Wagamama in London years ago and was thrilled to find out they were now in New York. I finally got around to eating there and everything was equally delicious. The only downside is that I missed a certain ice cream dessert that I love when I am in London as it is not on the menu here. I managed to full enjoy the ice cream selection on the NY menu though. Those fried bananas with the ice cream were amazing! It shocks me that they do not offer vegetarian dumplings.

The reservation process was user friendly. I have visited several Wagamama locations including one in Brighton, England along with two other New York locations. Today was my first visit to this location and I can guarantee you that it will be the last. My classmate and I came to this restaurant and came prepared to order each course of our meals once the server came to our table. We requested two appetizers, one rib entree and one vegan entree. The first error occurred when the waiter brought us the wrong appetizer and we had to tell him that it wasn’t ours. The second error came when they only brought us one appetizer and completely disregarded our order for the second appetizer. The third error came from two of the same rib entrees being brought to the table instead of my vegan entree. There are only two vegan entrees on the menu so it was quite disappointing and frustrating to experience this. Lastly our server locked eyes with us and pivoted to walk in the opposite direction. The restaurant was nearly empty and our server neglected us during the entire visit. He never offered us another carafe of water, additional napkins or inquired how our dining experience was. We tipped 20% out of respect for the service industry but honestly a 0.00 tip for this server would have been more than generous.

Sat there for 20 minutes before a server came over to bring us any water or take out order. She was getting ready to end her shift and was covering a large portion of the inside dining area. She was apologetic – and I told her I appreciated that – but she was clearly "done" after what seemed like it must have been a long day for her. The food was pretty good. Bang Bang Cauliflower tasted good and had a nice kick to it. Our various noodle dishes satisfied, and everything came out fresh and the portions were good. Overall, the workers just seemed like they had no energy and we had to try to get our new server's attention just to get our bill and then again when we wanted pay. Thankfully, payment was made tableside, so we didn't have to wait for him to run to the back & run our card. God knows how long that would have taken! I'm at around 3 stars for this visit because I have to dock at least 1 star for the slow & disinterested service even though we were there at around 8:30pm on a Monday evening when the place was not busy.

The food was okay- it didn't wow me but it wasn't terrible. Same with the service; it was just OK. Not someplace I'd return to, though, because there are so many amazing Asian food eateries in NYC, why revisit one that's just 'ok'? Their cocktails are interesting, though, so there's that.
