Service was stellar, as always. However, today, the food was a bit off. Popover tasted “old” and the strawberry butter was too liquid - instead of the normal “cold” little scoop. Chicken tortilla soup was simply not good. It is delicious at NM Northpark, so not sure what happened there. Chicken Caesar salad was ok, but boring. And since when does a Caesar salad not have croutons of some fashion? Finally, lemon cake was a bit dry and tasted like a cake mix you’d buy at then grocery store. Very disappointing!

We’ve been regular customers here for nearly a year. Several visits per month is not uncommon. From Jeff, the manager, to Ardiana, our lead server, we couldn’t ask for a better experience anywhere! The food rivals any restaurant I’ve eaten at (and I’m talking even places like Al Bernaits!), the cocktails are top notch and - perhaps most importantly- if you want an interaction that leaves you feeling like a VIP, then you HAVE to put Mariposa on your list!

The service and care was beyond excellent! Mariposa is doing an excellent job and is carrying on well from the pandemic. All of the staff pitched in to make sure their customers are having an excellent dining experience. We've been dining here for years and it still feels like home. :)

Cheryl and Adriana always make me feel like family when I come here—Mariposa is a food spa for me. The broccoli cheese soup was piping hot and the texture was perfect, and the crab cake salad was so fresh that the crunchy lettuce, soft avocado, and flawless crab cakes meshed perfectly.

We always enjoy the consommé, but the puffs were cold when they arrived at the table, we were the second table seated. The butter was the redeeming aspect for the puffs. The music was some kind of jarring pop that didn't belong in an upscale cafe, it really annoyed me. Our waitress was attentive and quick to respond thankfully. My caesar salad came dry, but the romaine was very crisp and fresh. The waitress was fast to bring me extra dressing and it really helped. The grilled chicken I had added to it was a little dry, but good overall. The chocolate chip cookie was huge, warm and delicious, could taste a little brown sugar and/or molasses. The soup special was New England Clam chowder and it was enjoyable, perfect temperature, nothing too chewy. I do think Mariposa is a bit overpriced and the menu limited, but it generally is enjoyable.

While the food was good, the Service was awful. Took over 15 minutes and repeated requests to get our Popover, long after the Chicken Broth was gone. Way understaffed, no water or clearing service. Our Server was great, but swamped. Avoid until they fix this hot mess!
