   Gracious! The filet was "melt in your mouth" delicious! Cooked to order at medium setting. My brussel sprouts were good, but my husband's asparagus were over cooked and looked pitiful. Salads were drenched with salad dressing, but our fault--should have asked for it on the side. Had lots of cheese and croutons--could have been lessened on those two items, otherwise, a good salad. Ambiance was excellent. It was busy, but the acoustics are great so it wasn't so loud that it drowned out our conversation. We will return!

   Great ribeye and flash fried green beans. Salad has good variety and bread is always fresh. Service was GREAT!!

   This was our first visit to SaltGrass. We were there around 6:15 on a Friday and it wasn't busy at all at that point. Hostess was friendly and we were seated quickly. Our waiter, Brent, came promptly. and was very friendly and courteous. He was knowledgeable about the menu and made good recommendations. Orders came out correctly, and food was hot. My husband ordered the chopped steak which was cooked as ordered and I had the chicken laredo which was very good. I enjoyed the ambience of the restaurant and the service was outstanding. We will definitely visit again.

   We had an amazing waiter. Made us laugh thru the whole dinner. KD!!! Would love to go back again just to have him as our waiter. The only problem we had were that our steaks were a little over done. Which is not like the Saltgrass. We didn't want to bother our waiter about it as the steaks were still good, just not rare enough. With that being said, I go to the Saltgrass probably 2 or 3 times a month. It's my favorite steak house!

   We had a 6:30 reservation. The font staff seemed unaware and did not have a table ready. I don[t mind waiting for a table, but I had not experienced this amount of confusion when booking through Opentable.

   This was the first time for me and my girlfriend going in a Steakhouse just for experiencing but it became the last time we will ever go to any kind of steakhouse. We know its busy time in Valentines day but as we have already pre reserved our tables we had to wait and the only things my girlfriend wanted to eat were all out after we ordered them. My date night was completely ruined and on top the waiter was carelessly unprofessional. We really tried to keep up the mistakes but it overwhelmed us sides were missing she didn’t know much about the menu itself. It one of the worst Valentines for me but because of the place I choose. I don’t recommend anyone to go here until its a normal day but leave it be in any occasion because it was not just us that were unsatisfied. We had to togo the food and leave right after the food came because it was hard to just be there. We did tip the waitress 25% of what the bill was but it was just out of straight manners not service or food.

   I can't turn down Maudine's Center Cut Filet, medium rare...so tender. I have it every time. I love their house salads, plenty of cheese, and a loaded baked potato. Spouse likes sweet potato. This is where I want to go for a little more upscale, yet casual. All you reallly need to know is that it is a Landry's restaurant (it seems they own almost all restaurants in Galveston). All of them have excellent food and service! They also have frequent discounts if you are a member of the Landry's Club.
