    The only reason I gave a 2nd overall star, was my order was correct and was good. This was easily our worst visit to a Landry's establishment. We were there for my mother's birthday dinner (table of 5). An order of a beer and on the rocks margarita took 20 minutes to come to the table. Each time our iced teas/water were empty, we had to ask for refills. On top of that, the iced tea was refilled each time with an empty glass of ice, I had to ask every single time for more ice. When it was time for the food to come out, my husband's coconut shrimp was delivered to the table with a regular order of fried shrimp...we immediately knew it was not coconut shrimp -- but our waiter literally bent down to examine it and initially said, "yes sir, that is coconut shrimp'. When the food was delivered, the waiter immediately took the coconut shrimp back to the kitchen and we sat unserved for another 5-10 minutes without tartar sauce or refills of drinks. I had to ask the manager to come to the table, quietly shared some of the issues - in which he returned to the kitchen for another 5-10 minutes before returning with the coconut shrimp. We still did not have tartar sauce or drinks. It was a very frustrating experience in which 95% of it was service. The waiter blamed it on the kitchen, when it was really just the attention to the small details that we should expect at any Landry's restaurant.

    The New England clam chowder was not hot and had microscopic clams, no bacon, but a lot of rice. Seafood gumbo was ok, but had too much rice added. Fried seafood platter with fried oysters had no taste, could be old oil? My stuffed redfish was just ok. Our server was ok but didn’t seem happy to be there working. Not a great Father’s Day for a lot of money.

    It was an extra special dinner with our grandsons visiting from Nashville TN. Food was excellent and view was beautiful by the window enjoying the water .... They LOVED it. One of our FAV restaurants!!! We ALWAYS enjoy Landry's .The food and service was great ...

    We had a fabulous meal and great service. We really enjoyed the chicken and sausage gumbo! I also enjoyed the stuffed redfish although it was so much food I had to bring home a doggy bag. Would highly recommend Landry's Seafood House -The Woodlands, to all my friends.
