At home in Toronto's Little Italy neighborhood, Garrison Creek reimagines traditional Italian cuisine in a modern setting. We have curated a colourful menu with the finest and freshest ingredients that bridge both traditional and unexpected Italian dishes to life. Also the craft cocktail list is both creative and approachable, with twists on classics.
Whether seated at the cocktail bar or fine dining areas of the restaurant, you can find yourself in a modern yet approachable atmosphere surrounded by luxe white and black marble finishes, black velvet accents and contemporary art installations.
The origin of the restaurant’s name comes from its location on top of what was Garrison Creek, which flowed through the city entering Lake Ontario just east of Fort York and was the military garrison for the region dating back to when Toronto was young.
We invite you to join us on a culinary experience accompanied by unparalleled hospitality.
It was our 3ed time at Garrison Creek. The food and service is always outstanding. They just added a pizza menu and I would give the pizza a 5* it was very good.
Outstanding, After dinner we moved to the bar and had a fantastic time, it seams like the place to be. The food was incredible and the service was great.
We had a wonderful experience, up scale but very approachable! The two fish dishes were exceptional , the octopus was probably one of the best I’ve had and the whole grilled fish was outstanding. I will be returning very soon.
Great upscale place in Little Italy. Food was sort of bland all around but service was unbelievably good, ambience and vibe were terrific for our family. Feels a bit like CIBO with much much better service.
This was our second time at Garrison Creek and the experience was consistent and excellent. Food and service were both exceptional and we will definitely be returning.
Overall really enjoyed it. It's clear they're still finding their footing, being open only 5 months when we went. Food was really good.
Food and service were amazing. Would definitely be back regularly.
Everything was wonderful, from the service to the food.
Delicious food, great service, decent prices. Can't understand why the place was practically empty on a Friday night.
The calamari was hands down the best I’ve had, the mixologist was awesome. I would come back to this place.
Wonderful restaurant experience, the food was great.
Delicious from start to finish. Beautiful course after course, from the fresh fish and seafood to the house made pasta, they have beautiful flavour combinations that are incredibly tasty. This is my new favourite place downtown
Nobody in restaurant and food very expensive for quality. Service good. Music too loud.
Outstanding! Had a really fantastic meal, paired with a excellent experience. Will be coming back.
The food was fantastic the spaghetti pomodoro tasted just like Italy, the steak stood out, I would definitely recommend it. Great restaurant with great quality food. Will be going back very soon.
We had an excellent meal. The Salumi mist was amazing, we ordered it based on the picture they post and I have to say for the first time it actually look the same as the photo. The two raviolis we ordered tastes incredible and again look the same as advertised. We also shared there steak of the day and it was a very high quality cut of mead, we could tell the moment it was cut, it was also cooked perfectly to our liking. This restaurant is new, check it out before it gets crazy busy.
Cheese and meat tray was good, lots of variety and portion size was more than adequate for 2. Can’t be said for the Alfredo, was over cooked and sticking together.
Service still needs to be tweaked, lots of servers on duty, but not necessarily useful.
We were not disappointed. We were warmly greeted and guided through the restaurant. Our server explained the menu and assisted us on deciding what to order. The food was delicious and I only wish I had room for more. The value was excellent compared to other prices we have see and we found the quality and atmosphere equally paring.
I had the lobster ravioli which I can highly recommend! Will return soon.
Ravioli's were amazing, probably the best I have ever had. This is bye far one of the of better Italian restaurants in the city. It's fancy but not over the top, you also get what you pay for and the quility is outstanding. I will be returning again soon.
The food was very disappointing. Way too expensive for what was served. The ravioli were cold and the sauce was not up to par. We were told 20 minutes after our order was taken that the branzino was not available. The chicken is not served with a citrus salad- its an organge Garnish. The sides on the extrmely thick chicken came out 20 minutes after the main. Limited options for vegetarians. Overall, it was too overpriced for the lack of quality of food. It's a shame as the ambience is nice. Will NOT go again.
Great place to take a date. Really good Italian food with a twist!!! Loved the set Valentine’s Day menu! Will be returning very soon!
Very good food and excellent service. However, the restaurant was empty which is unusual for Toronto. Nevertheless, we were more than satisfied with the mozzarella di buffala and the charcuiterie board. Plates were generous and tasteful. We then shared 2 plates of ravioli (lobster and rabbit).
So good. We shared the Salumi tray, so much food but so delicious! Would go back to try the ravioli and enjoy the beautiful decor!
Exceptional Italian restaurants. We had an amazing meal. The space is very well done; the service and food were fantastic. Really enjoyed our visit. Would definitely return.
1 bite into the appetizer (Octopus salad) we knew it was going to be a great meal, and it was food was amazing. Ravioli was phenomenal and so was dessert.. We loved the intimate ambiance, loved the decor and the fact that you can move from dinner to the bar for a yummy cocktail before you leave was great!!
Will be going back for sure!!!
This restaurant impresses on all levels!
The sophisticated decor makes any night feel special, and you can tell that the food is made with great care.
Watching Chef Marianna work in the kitchen adds to the ambiance that they are trying to create.
I was thoroughly impressed with how the kitchen was able to go off menu and create a vegan meal for us to enjoy.
I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to shake things up from the ordinary night life on College.
This was the best places I eat the music was good it was my first time there they Greek me very well and the food was amazing I love the tomatoes paste and the bread was delicious in my salad among the rest of the food I recommend anyone to go to the places to eat I attand to come back again and more times
Seriously can't get enough of that Gnocchi poutine! Thanks David for the professional service!
What an amazing restaurant! The food is FANTASTIC and the atmosphere is great. I had their PEI Cozze ravioli and the Gnocchi GC with lamb. I wish I had ordered more. I can't wait to come back.
I had a great time here! The ambiance was great, the interior of the restaurant is beautiful, and it's got great food to compliment it's style. The gnocchi poutine was amazing, and so interesting, I've never had anything like it! I also really enjoyed the cozze ravioli, the sauce is to die for. Will definitely be back!
Everything was perfect. We ordered spring rolls, gnocchi poutine, salsiccia, panna cotta and souffle. Will definitely go back for more! And will definitely recommend the restaurant to those who love Italian food. Well, not just ordinary Italian food but EXTRAORDINARY ones. Garrison Creek should be on your Toronto must visit restaurants!
This was our second time at garrison creek as its in our neighbourhood. We enjoyed everything, the food was excellent. Our server was very nice. The porchetta ravioli was amazing and mussels ravioli were very good. We saw a desert board pass us and it looked outstanding, we decided to try the desert ravioli and it did not disappoint. can't wait to visit again.
Food was overpriced and bland. Started with the grilled caesar salad - croutons were so stale and impossible to cut. They were giant chunks of bread that although had delicious flavour, were impossible to chew. Main courses were unfortunately not much better. I had sweet potato gnocchi in lamb ragu. Gnocchi had no flavour and lamb was overcooked and bland. Also had the sausage and rapini ravioli. Actually ravioli were good but tomato sauce was bland. Menu advertised a San Marzano tomato sauce, but tasted nothing like San Marzano tomatoes. Additionally the large piece of rapini on top of the ravioli was not properly washed and had pieces of sand in it.
Best date night yet! The Gnocchi Poutine was amazing, the actual fries are gnocchi and the gravy was so tasty, my husband had the Smoked salmon, he said is was very nicley done. We shared Mista board that was the best looking board we have ever ordered and the bruschetta rustic is a must try, Ceaser salad that was fantastic. For our mains we had the Gnocchi GC (had to try more gnocchi as the poutine was so good) it was with sweet potato and lamb, it was very good my husband said he would come back to have it again. We also tried the 4 pice Ratatouille Ravioli, we enjoyed it so mush we asked the server of we could buy some of the tamatto sauce to take home. We will be back to try more ravioli.
We had an excellent meal here. We had the fried 'Caprese' as well as the gnocchi poutine for apps, and both were excellent. I had the pork chop which was cooked perfectly - they happily accommodated my request for medium/medium well, which was executed very well. My friends has the Osso Buco ravioli when they said was great, and the mussel ravioli which they said was ok but not amazing.
One thing to note which will bring me back for sure - they have a small but great looking and fairly priced Kids menu, which is really hard to come by (no chicken fingers!). Ill be back with the family!
All of the food was fantastic. The ceasar salad was one of the best I've had. The gnocchi ragu was amazing.
Thanks for the great night Garrison Creek! Food was great, steak was one of the best I've had, also had the fish of the day and it was a whole fish that was served on a wood plank, the presentation on each dish was very nice. We had our son with us and the kids cotton candy on top of ice cream was incredible. Will be visiting again very soon.
Everything was spectacular! Highly recommend trying the lobster ravioli
The food tastes just as good as it looked, I can’t wait to go back and try more the the different raviolis they had, I ordered one and saw another and had to try it too. Both tasted so good and I would recommend the 2 (ratatouille and porchetta) I saw a family with a child that the staff seemed to pay extra attention to, I thought was quite nice. The actual restaurant is very beautiful, the bar is separated which I thought was nice, the diners could dine and the bar could definitely be a good late night stop. I asked and the whole appetizer menu is available for late night. Definitely worth it.
Came by Garrison Creek after viewing the head chef on Breakfast Television! The service was amazing as well as the ambiance of the restaurant. Since it is fairly new I liked that it was quieter so we could actually catch up and hear each other. Cocktails were tasty, I got the Alba! Our lobster ball appetizer was a little burnt underneath which affecting the taste unfortunately. Gnocchi poutine was delicious and the raviolis were nicely done. Just wish there were more for the price! Thanks for a great experience, hope to be back soon!
