This was our second visit and we were sadly disappointed. The menu was not as appealing and the overall feel was incoherent. The only food standout was the asparagus appetizer; the lemon pasta was bland and over cooked; burger and fish ok but nothing special. What tanked the lunch however was the truly careless, bordering on rude, service. The host was cold and stiff, and the wait staff consistently made mistakes w no apology. I don’t think the wait staff meant to be inept, to give them the benefit of the doubt perhaps they just were never trained. Overall tho, Stir spoiled what we hoped would be a lovely birthday lunch. I do not recommend and will not return.

Do not choose the potato and leek soup. It was tasteless, except for the olive oil that was swimming on top. My friend chose the asparagus which she said was delicious. I had obviously chosen incorrectly. The Basque cheesecake was excellent.

The lady at the reception desk turned us away even though we could clearly see many open tables. The waitresses are kind and helpful though. Food is decent. The place is clean and they don’t rush you which is nice.

Nice simple menu well done with a nice selection of wines. Friendly and professional service. I strongly recommend you make reservations; on a previous visit mid-week, we were turned away (or could have waited an hour+) because they were fully booked.

Very pleasant restaurant with small but varied menu. We had excellent smash burgers and fries. A little pricey for a casual lunch. Attractive and with a nice vibe - a big improvement in the Philadelphia Museum of Art food offerings.

Chef Alex prepared a tasting menu for our group and it was amazing. Each dish was better than the last and we all left feeling we had just had one of the best meals ever! Highly recommend this hidden gem!

The potato Leek soup was creamy and the presentation was lovely. Also, the quinoa salad was refreshing wiht a pleasant crunch and lightly dressed. It was nice while visiting the museum to enjoy meal on-site. The food was delivered in a timely manner. The service was the only disappointing aspect. It was slow and our waitress was not very friendly. This area could use improvement.
