Our story began in Montauk, but we moved those good vibes up to Westchester to create a fun, unique and eclectic experience at a fair price and without the sand. Enjoyed lunch at this new California/European bistro-vibe restaurant on Armonk Square. It was raining, so we couldn't sit at one of the inviting outdoor tables. Inside, the hip, casual atmosphere was fun, though, and our waiter extremely attentive and charming. When my friend's cauliflower appetizer arrived and she learned it was fried, he happily took it back and brought her a kale salad instead. I loved the grilled watermelon salad with arugula and feta. The restaurant was uncrowded because of the weather, but I suspect that when full, the noise level could be high. Still, I will definitely return to sample more of the appealing menu.

My friend Rosa and I needed to get together for a quick chat and to exchange gifts so we decided to meet at Tauk in Armonk. We relaxed with a drink and shared a delicious appetizer, the Fried Calamari and a dessert. The staff is so nice, professional and happy to help with any requests. Try Tauk during the summer-it is nice and relaxing by the couches and fire pit area.

The food is good -- just creative enough and wonderful to have a place to get lobster in town. The decor is also nice - like an escape to the beach, complete with fun cocktails. I just wish they would open the "adults only" part of the patio to families, even if just on the weekends. It was a nice night and we really wanted to sit outside, but were told that the empty tables were in the adult section and we had kids with us. We had to sit inside where it was quite crowded and noisy while looking at the outside adult section almost empty for the entire time we were there. Frustrating.

This is a fairly new restaurant in with a quaint beachy decor . The outdoor dinning area is charming . The food was surprisingly good , the staff friendly and the service professional. They even serve crepes on the weekends for breakfast. A wonderful find right in the heart ❤️ of Armonk. Truly a neighborhood gem .

I brought my assistant Stephanie to treat her to dinner and she loved the Chicken Milanese with salad. I enjoyed the shrimp cocktail as an appetizer and the lobster roll which was so amazing! The female waitress was so lovely and courteous! The ambiance was lovely since it a beautiful summer evening sitting outside restaurant! Highly recommend Tauk!!

Tauk was great. I went with my girlfriends and sat outside after a long, rainy spring season. It was beautiful and the sun was shining. The food was good. However, once served, the waitress never came back to us again for a drink or even with the bill. I had to go inside to see if they wanted us to pay. We were there chatting for about an hour and a half after we finished our meal.

We wanted to try somewhere new so we went to Tauk as we've heard good things about it from friends. My entree salad was small and expensive compared to other local restaurants. My husband's burger was excellent. I've been told the fish dishes there are great, so that's what I'll try next time we go. It's worth another try.

It was our first time After hearing a little bit about it I didn’t realize how casual it was we were looking for more of a Saturday night date night spot this clearly is not. This is a great place to grab a bite to eat. bartenders are in experienced service was very slow thank God they were not busy they would’ve been overwhelmed. Everything was very nice and sweet and friendly staff definitely go back maybe for lunch

The menu is creative and everything we had was delicious. Two of us had special dietary needs but there were several items on the menu that we could eat and were very good. We will definitely dine here again.

Group of 4 ordered lobster bites, tuna and portabello tacos, lobster cobb salad and pasta with lobster. Food delicious and service very attentive. Delicious cocktails made by Sally. Owner was very nice and checked on us frequently. Only negative is place if very small and tables very close together. Otherwise great place. Will go back!

I would love to give this place rave reviews, but despite having a half dozen wait staff, the service was horrendous. This cute place seats 40, but incapable of producing a simple lobster roll for nearly 90 minutes. Ended up walking out.

Consistently very good. Menu is creative, well executed and extremely reasonable. I have dined here often and have never been disappointed. The criticisms that I have read from earlier reviews in my opinion is really off base.

Went here on a Saturday night for my wife's birthday. Description and concept sounded great. East end, Montauk inspired theme and seafood. Space is nice though a bit cramped; the tables are very close. Started off terrible. Though the restaurant was busy it was not like every table was taken. Waited 15 minutes to be seated. It looked like the host was doubling as a server and seemed overwhelmed. Even though we had a reservation for four we were seated at a six top that was crammed against another table. It went downhill from there. It is not that big a place and it was not full to a capacity. There appeared to be plenty of staff and yet they seemed completely out of sync and overwhelmed. It took a bit for anyone to come over and the staff seemed confused as to who would wait on us. Took a bit for drink orders and then it took almost a half an hour to get a drink. One bar tender who did not seem that busy from observation (only a few people at the bar and not every table in the restaurant was taken) and yet our server said she was behind. Crazy. They should have comped the drinks. As for the food and menu. The menu is uninspired. Lobster heavy focus. Beyond that one would think given the menu there would be a range of seafood but there is not. Beyond lobster dishes there is the usual salmon, fish n chips, mussels. One would have thought some more inspired, regional fish given the name - Striped Bass, Sword fish, fluke, skate - Nope. I had fish n chips. Not great at all. Fries were good, slaw eh, fish was served luke warm and was flavorless. My wife had Lobster Mac n Cheese. Eh. Del Frisco's does it better. Getting a second round of drinks - Ha. Took forever to get the server to ask and then it again took forever to get the bar tender to make them. Even the server was befuddled by what exactly the bar tender was doing. Coup de gras. Bus staff cleared half our table, and seemed to forget about us.

Tauk was absolutely fantastic. Even though the restaurant was packed, they were able to get us in just a few minutes after our reservation. The food was great, and the service fantastic!!

This is a nice place to meet friends for lunch. Our reservation was for 1:00pm on a Thursday so it was not very crowded and nice and quite for conversation. The menu was interesting with many vegetarian options. The tuna poke bowl was very good and one of my friends liked the veggie burger. However, the dishes were pricey for the portion size. (Although I told the server I had an opentable reservation, the server didn't seem to care and did not initially credit me for keeping the reservation.).

This was a great evening. I’d make Tauk my regular hangout. Great menu, using only the freshest of everything. Friendly staff, engaging owner, busy vibe, all added to an exceptional dining experience. Looking forward to their happy hour.

We had a very enjoyable meal at Tauk. The food was delicious, from the butternut squash soup to the salmon and green lentils and crispy Brussels sprouts. Hoping this place can make it in the winter as it has a summary feel, but offers comfort food to satisfy.
