The food was amazing. Our table was right by the entrance so was a bit drafty but it wasn't too bad. Our server was super nice and attentive. Will definitely go back sooner rather than later.

I would highly recommend trying Robba da Matti. The food and ambiance took me back to Italy. I had the lobster ravioli and I’m still thinking about it days later.

I had the best time here. The staff were incredibly kind and caring and put a lot of effort into the food they served us. I would go back any day, any time and would highly recommend this quaint little place to anyone looking for a delicious meal.

Great service, terrific food. I brought my girlfriend here for her birthday and was not disappointed.. I’m not even a pasta person and would absolutely go back here. Try the rosche rosche you won’t be disappointed.

first time here and the service and food was great. Would definitely recommend this place to others that like Italian food. So much seafood in my dish - prawns, mussels, clams, squid and scallop! yum!

We loved the food. Everything was delicious. Service was prompt. We chose the ‘Date Night’ combo that included 2 apps, 2 mains, 2 desserts and choice of red or white bottle of wine. Only negative was that when it came time to choose our dessert they only had a single serving of the creme brûlée dessert left. We were not offered a reduction in cost of package but rather given 2 limoncellos (which we didn’t really want). If you have ordered a combo package at the beginning of the evening then I would think desserts should have been set aside. Not a huge deal but just disappointing.

The food was good but not great. There was an issue when we got there about how asking for patio dining on Open Table didn’t mean we’d get it. Also a little crowded for COvid, with some kids running around (not the restaurant’s fault perhaps, but they did put that party at a smaller table).

The appetizers were great, the wine is also good but the main is normal. We didn’t like the seating. We were given a table next to the kitchen counter. It was like sitting inside the kitchen! There was a table open outside and even we did have a reservation we were told that it was reserved? Waited a long time to even order a drink but then the food came too fast. With the exception of being not comfortable sitting on the table we were given it was okay.

We made a reservation for 7pm, however, they could not accommodate us until almost 8pm. They gave us a complimentary glass of champagne due to the wait. Our food was very taste except for the risotto, which was soupy. Pasta dishes were excellent and the burrata appetizers were very good.

We waited 2 hours for the food to arrive. Waiter blamed the delay on "technology". The Ossobucco was tasteless. Everything else was ok, not memorable. Just ok. They comped us two desserts for having us wait 2 hours. The desserts were also just ok. With so many Italian restaurants in town they really need to up their game.

I was there with my parents. It was their first time. The server was AMAZING and super kind. She gave us 3 glasses of bubbles on the house (because I took my parents there for the first time) I forgot her name, but she has short blond hair and is not taller. It was a wonderful experience and my parents loved it.

Delicious authentic homey food and service was exceptional! My girlfriend and I were on vacation and stumbled on this gem! Got a reservation last minute, we had the Seafood Rissoto and and Seafood Pasta both were absolutely fantastic so rich and creamy and everything you want in those two dishes. The servers were super attentive and responsive. They were also very welcoming and made you feel like a family member eating at their house. It was so good that we had to go back two nights later for our last dinner. Highly recommend this place if you want the best Italian at a reasonable price. Make sure to make a reservation if you want to secure a table they are always busy. We are quite sad that we are back home not able to enjoy this gem of a restaurant.

Our experience at Robba Da Matti last night was great! We waited a little long for our table to be ready for us however the hostess and wait staff made it an enjoyable experience for us. Offered us dessert on the house to compensate and the food was all around fantastic. A must try in Vancouver!
