   We had a reservation for New Year’s Eve at 8 PM and we were not aware that they had gone bankrupt. This location has been closed since December 29th. This was a horrible experience since we had no other reservations on New Year’s Eve.

   Very consistent -- always GREAT food and service, very nice ambiance. We've eaten here 8-9 times and it's our favorite restaurant in this part of Miami, by far. Be sure to sign up for their email notifications -- lots of specials and promotions.

    We now take my mom here for holiday meals and it has been one of the best discoveries. Amazing high quality food and the crab cakes are the best I’ve found in a very long time. The waitstaff is professional and lovely and it feels like a fine dining getaway in the Kendall area. I recommend this spot to friends now, and will definitely go again soon.

    We ordered from the prix fix menu. Rhe chicken tortilla soup was fantastic, the filet was spectacular and the creme brulee was delicious. And I forgot to mention the creamed corn and scalloped potatoes.

    Inspired by an email promotion that we received from Open Table, we had an early Thanksgiving dinner at Devon Seafood + Steak Grill. Best decision Ever! Not only they offered the outstanding turkey dinner with all the trimming, they had choices from several cuts of beef, salmon on a plank to the very infamously delicious lobster tail. Everything very fresh and cooked to perfection. The lobster bisque, baby greens salad, each of the sides were all great compliments to the main dish. The Apple Crustade was a flaky, crispy, melt in your mouth masterpiece. The service was excellent from the moment we walked in to a finale with pictures and celebration, our waiter Jean Baptist was a Super Star! He was extremely patient and accommodating to all our needs, answering every question and making the best suggestions. In general, very inviting, organized family atmosphere as well as the adult very busy bar area. Something for everyone. We will be back often. We highly recomend it!

    We went Wednesday before Thanksgiving. I don’t think they were expecting a big night so things were a little slow. I wasn’t in a hurry so no big deal. My wife and I had a cocktail each-a margarita and a smoked old-fashioned. Both were very good. Our appetizer was the shrimp cocktail. We order the scallops with mushroom risotto and the charbroiled tuna with potatoes and asparagus. Both entrees were very generous portions. The tuna was beyond excellent. The servers and the manager were running around making sure everyone was doing well. The staff did a great job. I will now say something that is pretty controversial especially for Devon regulars (this was our first time): the biscuits and butter are not very good and the way they bring them to thetable is tacky.

    Brunch was not what we went for but unfortunately all they offered on Sunday morning, early afternoon. The selection was OK, but not exquisite. The price was alright as well, $34 per person. I would have enjoyed a better meat selection, was limited to just one steak option (prime rib). Overall the place is lovely, nice views of lake/fountains. It’s a nice addition to the Kendall restaurant selection.

    Great service and recommendations from Josmar (our server). I got the prefixed meals with the KC strip and it was cooked perfectly. My lady got the Salmon and it was cooked perfectly as well.

    Devon is a wonderful, expensive restaurant. I know that going in, so no surprise. The food is awesome, delicious, and service has always been excellent. This most recent experience lived up to previous visits! Steak cooked perfectly with excellent flavor. Mahi was grilled nicely. Vegetables and salads were all splendid. We finished the meal with Creme Brûlée...amazing! Of course their scones are flaky tender and luscious. The atmosphere is good...not quiet but not too noisy (although the booth beside us had some loud folks). Devons is great! Expect to spend some $$$$ but enjoy 😊

    Took my wife out for here birthday and I could not have asked for a experience. Our waiter Benjamin was amazing - very attentive provided great recommendations and made sure that the birthday date was perfect. Food was amazing and drinks were on point. I am definitely going back

    This was a first date for two recently widowed 60 year olds. Ambience and service were both very good. Caesar salad was flavorful but could have been colder and crisper. My filet was underdone- because of circumstances didn’t want to deal with it. While I don’t mind eating rare steak- it was a little too chewy. I am sure restaurant would have corrected this as both waiter and manager asked about it. The crab cake I had was delicious. Neither my date nor I had dessert.

    We had a table outside for dinner at 8pm. It’s a nice space and the waitress was great. The food was good, had a variety between all of us of veggies, fish, oysters, drinks. The only thing I will say negatively is that for the prices, the plate presentation could be more upscale. The dishes were served with the « main » plus the sides just there, alone, without garniture or style. Also, the carrot side dish, although tasty, was not even the amount of one whole carrot. Just 3 medium sized julienned pieces.

    The food was very good but the restaurant either didn’t have enough servers or enough kitchen staff. The restaurant was full and they had a private party in the outside terrace. We waited a very long time after ordering for the food to be served.

    It was my sisters birthday and I had put that on the reservation. Unfortunately absolutely no acknowledgement from anyone on this and that was disappointing. As the appetizers we shared the oysters rockefeller & ahi tuna tartar. I had the charred ahi tuna and it was good but not as good as other times. My husband had the scallops, they were small for dry scallops and it had to be sent back it was to salty. It was taken care of right away and the second batch he said was good. My sister had the shrimp dish and she that it was very good. We enjoyed a bottle of Jason with our meal and it was excellent as usual. All in all everything was good but nothing was outstanding. This was the first time I had gone with a birthday person and nothing was acknowledge whatsoever.
