   Was not expecting that much. However the overall experience was horrible. Service was terrible. The food was overcooked and had so much salt it was hard to eat. Only eat here if you are looking for basic tourist food and an excellent location.

   Good food great service. The hostess with the long black hair was unhelpful and rolled her eyes at our party. Whoever answered when we called also told us no reservations can be taken over the phone.

   Great place. Was a little surprised to find that open table allowed a 7:45pm reservation. They close by 7pm in winter. Staff was kind enough to seat us since we showed a 7:45pm reservation

   Location is great. Nice views. We were looking for a place to have lobster rolls and this place was just ok. It’s a little pricey for what it is.

   The seafood pasta was so yummy. The lobster roll was ok and the fish and chips was pretty good. Service is also pretty good amd price is not so bad. Not the best I had but certainly not the worst.

   We arrived on time no host to check us in , we ordered our Meals that Never Arrived , very Disappointing especially after viewing The reviews , will not recommend it . Travelled to far to receive this kind of service . Go to Del Frisco better service , price and meal choices .

   The food was not great, the service was mediocre even though we were the only table in the restaurant. We were not allowed to get a reservation any earlier than 8:45pm cause they said they were booked up - however, we walked by the restaurant hours before then, several times, and it was always empty - that should have been our first clue. Do not recommend - go to Bubba Gump's instead.

    Food was good but service was poor.... Waiter made us feel like we were a bother...... He didn't care about our experience because we were a group of 8 and he charged 18% for his tip automatically..... Will not go back

    I was very disappointed with this restaurant. They booked me a reservation for 8:45 and when we arrived in Santa Monica we found out they close at 9 on Monday’s even though all other restaurants and the pier are open way later. When we got to the restaurant they wouldn’t even let us get a drink and told us they closed at 8:30. Overall I am very disappointed with their customer service and do not recommend to anyone.

    We visited this place for a family dinner at Santa Monica pier. The location of the restaurant is great by the beach. We decided to chose a roof seating but it was super cold, and we could not changed our table because there was a private event going on. Food was super great, delicious and fresh. The calamari was really outstanding taste. Service is great, very welcoming hostess and lovely waiter. However the owner/ manager was rude, and he tried to give me false info about pictures that a photographer took for us when we were there saying twice that she left after someone else already told me to wait for her that she is processing the phots for us. The third time he was lying in my face insisting that she left, I asked him if he is sure because I see her behind his back. Otherwise, a great experience.

    Everyone's dinner was very enjoyable all meals were well prepared I'm very tasteful beautiful view of the sunset from inside the restaurant and if the weather is nice you can sit outside would highly recommend would go back anytime

    Food was cold. Service was ok. View was beautiful. But the food seemed like the just took it out of the fridge and threw it on a plate and here enjoy... the taste wasn't anything special might have been better had it not been cold and taste like the inside of a fridge.

    Really good food and amazing view. It was a little windy but the staff did an amazing job making sure we were all comfortable. The menu was diverse. I recommend the burgers the meat was perfectly cooked and the fries was fresh and crispy. The price was reasonable. The view was wonderful you could see the pier and the beach including some of the Santa Monica pier attractions. The restaurant also has an elevator so it’s easy to get to the top with a stroller. They provide and high chair as well. The place was family friendly and very beautiful.

    My table was outside upstairs. I wouldn't have given this high marks for ambiance if I'd been inside the second floor dining area, but outside was really nice and I was able to watch the sunset as I had dinner. The food was good, lots of choices and the menu is family friendly. The food is standard things like burgers, pizzas, etc. I had crab cakes, which were very good, and the dishes I saw at other tables looked good as well. My server made some nice recommendations. I would go back here on another trip to Santa Monica.

    Service was great, food was AMAZING! Drinks were kinda on the pricey side, but they we’re good! Ordered the pepperoni pizza, and it was the best pizza I’ve ever had!! Also had the fried chicken and 5-cheese dip, both really good Overall just amazing service and food, would 100% recommend

    Seaside on the Pier in Santa Monica had no record of the reservation I had made the previous day on Open Table for our party of eight. The hostess called her manager and he asked me if we were at the right restaurant. Since I had printed out a copy of the confirmation, I showed it to him and he confirmed we were indeed at the right restaurant. He apologized and said they would have a table ready for us by the designated time (thank goodness we had arrived an hour early). Eventually, everything did work out fine. We had a wonderful table on the rooftop and enjoyed delicious drinks and a great meal.

    We’re from Alabama and decided to try this restaurant while on our Spring Break trip. We thoroughly enjoyed the food and service and the view was pretty amazing too! We had some friends who were also visiting CA for Spring Break and recommended it to them as well and they loved it too!

    When we arrive we were told they only accept open table reservations when they have an open table. Then proceeded to take us to an empty dining room. They said they had a private party later but we could eat there first. Whole thing was very odd do we ran away quickly.

    Don’t book through OpenTable - the hostess at seaside was very surprised when we told her we had a reservation, as she said they don’t even take reservations! The food is super basic, the food sounds good but it’s only ok. The staff were great and accommodating and the strawberry drink was delicious. Go for the view, is my best advice!

    Very rude hostess. Quite unwelcoming. Lecturing guests about “how it works” and told me they don’t take reservations even though I had just made one through OpenTable. I get that they’re new and have some kinks to work out but the hostess is the first person you experience at any restaurant and should be more accommodating. They also don’t have a changing table in the restroom so I had to change my baby on bathroom floor.

    I made reservations for 8:45pm we arrived at 8:44pm and were told they stopped seating at 8:45pm and would not be seating us. While that seemed strange, we were hesitant to dine here because the restaurant was practically empty and the Santa Monica Pier it sits on, was very busy. We ended up dining next door at the Albright who had great service and greeted us as you’d be expected to be greeted entering a restaurant.

    I booked a reservation through opentable but when we got there they said they don’t even have an open table system. They acknowledged it was the correct restaurant that we booked but were confused because they did not have an opentable system. We had to sit outside because there was a 45 min wait inside. Waiter was awesome! Food was ok. Management was not professional and never owned the mistake
