                        Generally very good. Very disturbed that when I received the check, it had a 3% credit card charge. I was never asked how I wanted ho pay. Waiter was too busy to come back, so I just paid cash, omitting the 3% fee. Next time tell people it's cash only or that there is a charge for credit. Bush league! Not a necessary irritant.

                        La Finestra is my favorite restaurant but there were some disappointing aspects to last night’s experience. The server was pleasant enough but he made us feel hurried. He seemed annoyed when I asked him to repeat the “specials”. He also brought the check but never asked if we wanted dessert. Lastly often a complimentary limoncello is offered…not this time. This won’t keep us from returning but this time’s experience was sub par.

                        The food and service at La Finestra NEVER disappoint! Nora gave us great service assisted by a buzzing staff who filled waters, brought our dishes, cleared the table with pinpoint efficiency and politeness. Enzo also stopped by to say hello and to make sure we were happy with our experience. As always, the specials shined which makes it very difficult to get through their expansive menu. They also are very kind and considerate, allowing us to make changes to sauces, side dishes, and specific ingredients to suit both our tastes and strict dietary rules. Although we did not partake of the desserts this time and only enjoyed a nice decaf cappuccino, we will surely sample them again on our next visit.
