We were seated at the rear of the smaller room as I had requested a quiet area. It was perfect so we could hear each other without raising our voices. Our server was friendly and attentive but not intrusive. The scallops were amazing! The duck breast, pork chop and crab cakes were excellent. Very imaginative menu and very tasty. With apps and dinner with wine there was no room for dessert.

Everything was fantastic and has become a holiday routine. The food was definitely the highlight, as it usually is. Some of party went with the staples on menu while a couple went with the features and nothing disappointed. Thank you Chef Ryan and staff for another great holiday experience.

First time we have been here. Went based on the reviews but we were all disappointed in the main meals. For appetizers we had Deviled Eggs, Squash soup, Boa Buns, and Gnocchi. The appetizers were good except the gnocchi had a distinct fishy taste. Main course was multiple so so entrees including ravioli, schnitzel, trout, rib eye, and short ribs. The rib eye was the best of these. Nothing spectacular that we would come back for. Desserts were bread pudding and cobbler which were tasty but nothing really noteworthy. Service was very good, but we came for the food which we found disappointing.

As always our visit to Late Harvest Kitchen was pretty darned near perfect! Service is always impeccable (thanks Chris!) And, Chef Ryan's food is amazing. The biggest issue I have is that I want one of everything... During the pandemic when everyone was worried about restaurants closing we chatted and determined LHK was our top choice to support and help stay in business. I'm so glad there were a lot of others like us and that Chef Ryan worked hard to be creative and figure out how to stay in business because this restaurant is truly a gem!!!

Expert service, skillfully prepared and delicious dishes and a warm, welcoming environment make this locally chef-owned restaurant one of our very favorites. Starters are truly creative, and the sticky toffee pudding is not to be missed!

We always enjoy eating at Late Harvest. The trout and pork chop entries were excellent. The service by Scott was outstanding. My only wish is that the selection of red wines by the glass was better.

A bit disappointed in the food this trip. The perch was good but a little bland the chicken schnitzel also was just ok. Not enough sauce to keep it from being dry. Manhattan potatoes in in of salt and pepper. The apple dessert was good. Overall eating experience was disappointing and pricy.

10/10. To begin, outstanding service from Chris. We started with the caviar pie. The toast points were perfectly crispy, yet also soft. We highly recommend. We also had some wonderful cocktails from the bar. My wife ordered the chicken schnitzel; it was perfectly fried and seasoned, the spaetzle was airy yet also crispy (perfect!), and the buerre blanc was incredible. Chris recommended an Austrian white wine pairing that was also spot on. I ordered the scallops dish. Words can't describe how good it was. If you're a fan of scallops in any shape or form, please order this dish. I also tried the house Syrah and loved it! Chris was dead on with his meal pacing. Also, please order the sticky toffee pudding!

Simply one of the finest meals I have had in 40 years of living in Indy. The roasted trout, pork chop, and Brussels sprouts salads were all creatively presented and delicious. Coupled with a warm fire on a cool night, attentive but respectful service, and a nice sound track, hard to see how a dining experience could be better than this!

This was my and my wife’s first meal here. It was a busy Friday night, which was fine and inspiring. Our server and overall service were good. We had two different salads, the deviled eggs appetizer, shrimp and grits, duck, and the toffee dessert. Overall the visit was a 3.5. I rate the food as follows (out of 5). Wedge salad - my wife says 5. Brussels sprout salad 3. Flavor combination was not great and the smoked almond flavor was too dominant. Eggs - solid 4. Unique. Shrimp and grits - 1.5. No flavor at all. It would be a 1.0 but the amount of shrimp was more than expected. Duck - 5. The best I’ve had anywhere in many years. Toffee dessert - 3.5. Nothing crazy but worth trying. I also had the Late Harvest Zinfandel which was very good. Light but flavorful.

Menu changes almost daily, but I would think most people could find something to eat. The fried deviled eggs were outstanding. The shrimp and grits and trout were also excellent. Offer a decent price during these difficult times! Will plan to revisit. Highly recommend.

Our server Dee (I think that was his name) was excellent. Attentive and informative without being over bearing. The appetizers and entrees were great. I have one complaint about the restaurant, which I knew was an issue, the only coffee you can get is a relatively large French press (about 2and a half cups worth). My wife doesn’t drink coffee and I am not worried about the caffeine (Dee said they had decaf), I just don’t want that much volume, I just want one cup of coffee after dinner. Many other restaurants have French press coffee but typically they come in a smaller size, about 1.5 cups. It would be really nice if you offered that.

We had friends from out of town coming in and wanted to try something new and fun. We had heard about Late Harvest, and as it was convenient for our out of town guests, we were looking forward. The food was good, deviled eggs were great, and our only disappointment was the service. We had to wave staff down several times. Perhaps they were short-staffed, but that is a management issue and should not negatively impact guests.
