   Really nice restaurant in a lovely neighbourhood neighbourhood. Good service and 100% gluten free which was excellent!

   We had the Risotto all’Anatra and Risotto con Amarone e Monte Veronese, both of which are incredible. Risotteria Melotti is lovely inside, and the service is attentive but unobtrusive. It’s one of my favorite spots!

   I would call this restaurant a hidden gem. I accompanied a friend who is gluten intolerant to dinner and let me tell you, you'd never know this is gluten-free food. It was delicious--from the fried calamari to the risotta to the wine. I look forward to when I can stop by again!

   Located in the busy and exciting East Village, we were able to sit outside and enjoy the evening. The restaurant inside has a nice charm. The food was outstanding, and the server was very knowledgeable of the menu, specials, and dietary restrictions of one of our guest. She was working the entire restaurant alone, but was very attentive to all of our needs. The server was full of energy and authenticity. We had the mushroom arancini for appetizer(special), and the risotto with short ribs and light tomato sauce, and the risotto with saffron, and wild boar for entrees. For dessert, we had warm chocolate cake and the peach cobbler. All items were prepared perfectly. Be sure to read the history of the restaurant. I am unaffiliated with this restaurant, and the restaurant and server were not aware that I would be writing a review. I recommend this restaurant.

   This is my third time at Risotteria Melotti, and it never ever disappoints. Finally tried the Risotto with Duck, so flavorful. Fried Zucchini in the Fritto was a standout. Wine was great, our server was personable and attentive but not too much so, food came quickly and everything was scrumptious. You can tell walking in the door by the smells in the air that the food is delicious - high quality ingredients are a staple of Italian food, the pride of the country, and the risotteria does nothing but deliver. The atmosphere was perfect for the romantic birthday dinner I planned for my partner - tables were a little squished, but nothing that didn’t add to the charm. Genuine, classy, and delicious. Plus, so much of the menu was Gluten Free!

   Great place for a great meal and good time. The food is outstanding and innovative. From appetizers to desserts, everything is great. Of course, the risotto is delicious. Very nice place, great service, always a great experience . We are coming back!

    We discovered Risotteria Melotti in Rome, and were delighted to learn they had opened a location in the East Village. So many wonderful risotto dishes to choose from! Definitely try the house risotto with the rosemary and cinnamon; also the duck and the wild boar are not to be missed. As a home cook, this place opened my eyes to the joy of risotto, and the restaurant sells several varieties of their superior-quality Melotti rice. Someday we hope to visit their original location in Verona. Tutto perfetto! Grazie mille!
