We enjoyed our meals at the restaurant. I had the duck leg confit with lentils and my wife had a vegetable casserole. Both were delicious. My wife is normally a brussels sprouts skeptic, but she loved these. The service was helpful and friendly, and we even got a brief chat with the chef. We'll be back.

What a pleasure. Hadn't been there in a while and forgot how good it was. We love to support small businesses and this one is classic Jacques (husband) cooking and creating Babbette (wife) the hostess with the mostess (as the saying goes). And more importantly great food!! Classic and quality.

WOW! Excellent! Wonderful and fun! Food was astonishingly good with subtle excellence to natural detail. We both had the Mushroom Tourte, which was rich flavorful and divine. It set the bar for the evening that was matched with each course! My wife had the Duck Confit that was moist and bursting with flavor. A surprise was a slice Pomegranate fruit inside with aromas that complimented the rest of the preparation. I had the Beef Bourguignon that was served in both a cast iron skillet of noodles & vegetables and a small pot of even more beef. Savory beyond compare without being over seasoned. Wife had the Tahitian Vanilla Cream Brûlée that was rich in texture and not overly sweet. Perfect. I had the Meyer Lemon Pie that was honestly the best desert that I have had in my 65 years. Not too tart, not too much mascarpone topping, sweetly seasoned on top with exotics such as Candied Tangerines and Chopped Pistachios. Magnificent. I asked for the Chef to visit us, and we had smiles all around. He and his wife run an absolutely charming little French restaurant.

Cozy restaurant with delectable food choices. Went there for Dine LA and the food was delicious. The beef bourguignon had that "homemade" taste. The mushroom tarte appetizer was delicious. The lemon pie was also scrumptious. The chef/owner greeted us at the table, and the waiter and staff were very attentive . . . great service. Will definitely come back to try other menu items. My 'go to' French restaurant!!!!

The Mushroom Tourte, and Lamb Shank will make me come back again to this beautiful restaurant! Set beautifully, the service is fantastic. Head Chef Christian came to meet every guest personally which added to the experience and made me and my partner feel at home with the hosts. This was my first time trying French cuisine and I am very happy that I chose this restaurant. The Dine LA menu is representative of the cuisine and I can happily assume and guarantee that all their dishes must be equally amazing. Thank you for having us!

One of my new favorites! I came here during Dine LA after a recommendation from friends, without knowing anything about this place. I was not disappointed! The food was exquisite, the ambiance was amazing and the owners are the friendliest and loveliest; they took the time to chat with patrons and it definitely makes you feel special. I will go back for sure! SO happy I found this gem in LA. Thank you for a dinner to remember.

No matter when you go, the food and service are exceptional. My wife started off with the mushroom torte and I had the duck rillets. Both were amazing. I then went to my go to…the french onion soup. Very good. For mains, my wife had here go to the beef bourguignon and I had the lamb shank. Both exceeded our expectations. There is a new member of service, Laurent. Must say how professional and polite he was. Cant wait to go back.

Another amazing dining experience at AFA. My son started off with the Mushroom tart, my wife had the beet salad, my daughter had the onion soup and I had the country pate. So far, we are off to an amazing start. For the mains’ both kids had the prime ribeye which were cooked to perfection. My wife ordered the beef bourguignon which she loved and I has the fried snapper…OMG was so great. This was accompanied by a nice bottle of Chateau Margaux. Service was amazing. Christian and Babette do an exceptional job. Can’t wait to return.

Great food and service here. We enjoyed the mushroom pastry and the duck rillettes appetizers. We also loved the beef and salmon entrees. Opinions were mixed about the desserts with most of us feeling they were just okay. Service was phenomenal - friendly and attentive yet unobtrusive.

the moment we walked through door I fell in love with the restaurant The hostess owner gave us a warm greeting. The server and bus person were very attentive the chef owner came to our table and thanked us for coming. The ambiance and food were excellent I recommend highly.
