In the 1950's our grandfather, Giacomo, came to live the American Dream. He moved from Saviano, Italy to live in Long Island, New York. He met his wife and started a family, opening their first location in Long Island, New York, named Village Pizza. As business flourished, we moved to a larger location and changed the name to Alfieri Brothers’ Pizzeria. Again, we outgrew the size of the restaurant and relocated to a larger side of the center where we have remained since 1991. The following year, Saverio Alfieri decided to head south and expand the family business by opening a location in North Texas. Since then, Saverio and his two sons, Anthony and Giacomo, have managed to create one of Dallas/Ft. Worth’s best kept secrets. The Alfieri family has and will continue to serve authentic Italian recipes perfected by Grandma Alfieri herself.

One of our favorites for good authentic Italian food in the area with a great atmosphere and service. The lobster ravioli was great. I prefer the calamari arbirita to the straight calamari. Highly recommend.

Our server was great. The food was really good. Just a bit noisy in the back half of the restaurant. All good though.

We’ve made several trips to Saviano’s Italian kitchen recently. The atmosphere is Classic Italian Restaurant. Service has always been good even when the restaurant was crowded. On our most recent trip we started with adult beverages. I tried the Amore Mio and Jane stayed with the Benvolio Prosecco. The Amore Mio was a little sweet for my taste but if you like a sweeter fruity drink it’s worth a try. We ask Viktoria C for an appetizer recommendation and her suggestion of the Shrimp Oreganata did not disappoint. It was large enough to share and still leave room for dinner. Jane had the Baked Ziti and I went with the Saviano’s Cajun Pasta. Both were excellent and required take-home boxes. Unfortunately we did not leave room for desserts this time but our past trips the desserts have been wonderful. Saviano’s has joined the rotation of our favorite four restaurants. We still need to try the pizza which looks amazing.

Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner- as always!! The only disappointment was with our pre-dinner cocktails. (We wondered if the bar tender was perhaps in training since 3 drinks were not up to usual Saviano’s standards.) Just to be clear, though, appetizers and dinner were fantastic!! One of our all time favorite restaurants!!

The food menu was limited, overpriced and not worth it. Noise level extremely high. Would not visit again.

Cozy mom and pop place with great service and good food. The drinks are a bit pricey and the lack of background music is a detractor, but the delicious food and outstanding service balanced things out.
