The food and service were both excellent and the ambiance so inviting. Four friends were actually able to talk without having to compete with loud music or other guests. The food was superb: the branzino, the special of the day, was remarkably well prepared. The complimentary hors d’œuvre and focaccia were a delicious treat. An excellent, though not-very-expensive, Gavi wine further enhanced our enjoyment. We will be back soon.

Restaurant week and the food was mediocre all around, there were 3 of us to take advantage of the menu variety and each of us were disappointed. Too bad, this place used to be great. BTW- service was inattentive but that’s more the norm these days

The food was really great. The portions were not huge (we did the restaurant week menu). One thing that was not great was that the entire party had to do restaurant week which was annoying because some of the party didn’t want to. Besides that the service was good and so was the atmosphere.

Great, as usual! Excellent saffron risotto, you can go to the Cesar prepared, table, side, and the bartender is very good. Excellent! The service was top-notch.

New Year’s is always a difficult night for restaurants so we had a relatively early reservation. Our food and service were excellent, as we have come to expect from Coco Pazzo. We were warmly greeted and treated by the managers and owner. We will be back soon!

It took about 35 to 40 minutes for the main dish to come out after the appetizers were served. What a server described as one of the best main dishes at the restaurant turned out to be very bland at best.

The restaurant was not busy when we arrived and the service staff was annoying. Our primary server was lovely and very good. The managers kept coming over to the table and interrupting. It was rude and unprofessional. I will not be back for awhile

We had an amazing experience! We shared a pizza for an appetizer and it was the best wood fire pizza I’ve had in Chicago. We all got different pasta dishes and they were all amazing! Service was great, will definitely come back to this spot often

Amazing!! We have been having our annual business dinner here for 10 to 12 years and the service is always amazing. Our waiter, Roberto, the host, the service, the wine, the pasta… It was all perfect. Start with the antipasto for the table and end with chocolate fondante!

Best sea bass outside of the EU thus far. Wonderfull wine list. Just sad we had only the one evening and thus a single meal there! All the staff was very good at what they did and even though there was a lot of other people inside the place - it was refreshing to get such a personalized treatment.

Really awful food. Everything was over cooked and the scallops in my risotto were chewy, firm, and tasted frozen. The gnocchetti was mushy. I really miss the great CocoPazzo of the past. Will not be returning.

Very nice place with decent Italian fare. I can’t exactly say the price tags on the dishes are wholly justified- but they do some of the dishes with flair (e.g. cutting the porterhouse steak or deboning the branzino table-side and serving). The service is great but slower than expected (but this may have been a result of the meat dishes we ordered). Overall good!
