   Mushroom toast is amazing. The breakfast menus is excellent. I would simply ask that they put less salt in the mushroom toast recipe.

   Turkish eggs were fantastic! A nice change from standard brunch fair. Friendly staff made this a relaxing experience with our group (save the missing coffee which was quickly brought).

   We had a wonderful experience at the Belmont for our date night. The service, the drinks and especially the food was outstanding (OMG those lamb meatballs!). Can't wait to return!

   Don't go if you are in a hurry as everything is cooked to order. That said, iIt was all delicious, flavourful and succulent. The service was excellent. My friends and I will definitely be returning.

    Food took over an hour to be served. Its okay food and the price is pretty high

    Excellent, delectable cuisine and outstanding service. We had a wonderful evening. This is an excellent location for dinner parties with friends and family. We've been going to this fantastic restaurant since 2013, and it will always be one of our favourite places in Ottawa.

    We celebrated a family birthday and the experience was perfect. The staff were exxceptionally attentive and one even recalled that a member of our party was avegan and they proceeded to identify menu options when we were ordering (and the food we all ordered was creatiively prepared and delicious). This restaurant is a real gem in Old Ottawa South.

    First time and the food was very good but unfortunately the noise level was almost unbearable as we were sitting next to a large group that were very loud, so we had a difficult time to hear ourselves and our table of 5. The staff tried to move us outside but there were no tables available. The staff were very courteous. Adorable place but may be reluctant to return for fear of the same noise issues. Perhaps when there is going to be such a big party others with reservations should be told and perhaps be able to change their reservations. The party was about 10 people.

    Loved our dinner date at Belmont! We did the Family share for the two of us as we couldn't decide what to get and it was fabulous.. they even made a few modifications to accommodate my gluten intolerance. Highly recommend!

    Everything about this place is amazing. The trini doubles are a must try. Changed it up a little from our first visit and we were both very happy with our selections. Must visit again to try the rest of the menu.

    Although I’ve loved Belmont in the past this experience unfortunately did not live up to the past ones. The asparagus was undercooked and the dessert arrived while a main course was still outstanding. When that dish (cauliflower) arrived it was not as good as when we’d tried it in take out. To “take care of it” the bill of over $100 was reduced by $4.70 which seemed a bit odd in the circumstances. Overall it was quite disappointing especially because last experiences were so awesome. That said the watermelon salad and mushroom toast was fantastic!

    This is definitely on my list of places to return to. The food was in my humble opinion, spectacular. While my gf and I disagreed on which dish was the best, we both agreed that they were fantastic. We started off with the Trini Doubles with shredded porc added. The accompanying hot sauce was so good that I purchased a bottle for home. This was followed by the Mushroom Toast, the Argentinian Pink Prawns, the Flat Iron Steak and the Lamb Meatballs.

    There is absolutely no way it could have been better, we we late and stayed after closing due to our tardiness, they were extremely accommodating. The food quality and taste was exceptional.
