Located on the third floor of Eataly Los Angeles, Terra is a rooftop restaurant featuring a wood-burning Italian grill and views of the Hollywood Hills. Named for "earth" in Italian, Terra's menu is centered around the grill, resulting in earthy dishes paired perfectly with botanical cocktails, premium Italian wines, and more.

Our meal was fine overall, but unfortunately, the experience took a disappointing turn at the end. Upon reviewing the bill, I noticed a few unfamiliar charges. When I inquired, our server explained that one charge was for butter and the other two were for bread — items my mother had apparently ordered while I was in the ladies' room. When I asked if she had clarified to my mother that there would be an additional cost, her response was, “I didn’t think it was going to be an issue,” before dismissively walking away. Having worked in hospitality for over 20 years — and currently as a Concierge — I understand that in LA, you are charged for everything. This wasn’t about the money. It was about the principle — and the service. Asking if we wanted bread ten minutes after sitting down, without mentioning a charge, created a misunderstanding that could have easily been avoided. In thoughtful service, clarity is key. If an item is not complimentary, that should always be communicated before it’s placed on the table. Otherwise, the guest’s trust is compromised. No matter the city or clientele, it is a server’s role not only to take orders but to guide the guest through their experience with transparency, professionalism, and care. A dismissive response over a $25 misunderstanding doesn’t reflect the high standards that I’m sure, Eataly strives for. I hope this feedback is taken not as a complaint, but as a reminder: great hospitality isn’t just about food — it’s about how people feel when they leave.

We went for dinner, amazing views. Drinks were delicious They charge $35 to serve a birthday cake, a bit too much compared to other fine dining restaurants, but we had a good time 😊

We regularly visit both Eataly and Terra, celebratingevents and bringing friends and family. Had a reservation for my family (wife and kids) for lunch, started fine after we ordered all our food and drinks. Kids got their food and ours apps but main dished took more than 45 min before giving up. Not only did our food not come out but no staff (neither server nor MOD ever check in or even provide an update. By the time we asked to cancel the food and got the check, had been almost 90 min since we checked in. Even then, the initial bill included items we never received at the table. Needless to say, my wife and I did not get to have any lunch and paid almost $200 for some apps, a drink and pasta for 3 young children. Very disappointed with this one.

The food was great and the vibes, however, our waiter unfortunately was not too great. We waited a long time to get our drink orders in. She passed by us several times and even went to the two tables besides us asking how everything was but did not acknowledge us. At one point the manager, Emilio, was going around asking all the tables if everything was ok. When he approached our table I told him we had been sitting for a while and our waiter has not asked us about drinks or food. He immediately asked us what we wanted and had the drinks at our table within a few minutes. Other than our waiter taking so long to acknowledge us and ask to take our order, everything else was great!

Our server was great. Food was good when you walk upstairs the house should definitely greet you not people just staring at you like you walked into the wrong place, but they can be more welcoming when you walk in.

Chicken was undercooked. Had to send it back twice. 1 Manager checked in and she didn’t even apologize or ask us for something else. Just took it away and off our bill... Spoke to another manager about that experience and he was much better and lovely.

It was a lovely day and beautiful spaces. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. It was a little loud with the music but overall a wonderful atmosphere.
