The food was alright, but the service was really poor. The noise level was fine when we arrived, but then the bartender turned it up and I had to nearly yell to be heard at our small table. The worst part, by far, was the table service. It took at least 20-30 mins to get our appetizers and another 10 minutes just to pay the check. All in all, we spent nearly 2 hours somewhere that should’ve been a quick dinner. We were actually late because of the service. While the food was pretty good, I would not go back and not recommend this place to a friend.

Good barbeque. There were a group, about 7 of young women who were extremely loud, and were just sitting there. had finished there meal. Otherwise, things were excellent.

The food was just okay, and for the price I expected it to be better. The drinks were rather expensive, and there ended up being hair in one of our dishes. We went for trivia, and it was so loud that it was extremely hard to play.

Their bbq nachos and their corn cake were good but everything else we ordered were salty. My wife ordered the melting sandwich and was brought the banh mi sandwich which was salty from too much soy sauce as we didn't want to wait for another sandwich to be made. My brisket were salty too. We sat outside as the noise level inside was too loud from the people at the bar. There were random people including customers and non customer hanging outside smoking in our face even though there were clear no smoking signs posted. The waiter and the security did not do anything about it. I'd say it's more of a bar than restaurant so keep that in mind if you go there just for the food.

Dinner was amazing. All 9 of us loved loved loved our meals The pulled pork is incredible. And the service was outstanding- seriously the best waitress ever!!!I cannot wait to go back!!!

This was a great place to go for a fun Saturday night dinner. We had a larger party and two small kids with us and the table we were at was perfect to keep the kids by adults and entertained. There is pretty loud music playing and the vibe is definitely upbeat. It was the perfect atmosphere to have toddlers playing and giggling. The service was great. The food was average. Nothing crazy amazing- but it was really good.

I had stopped in for the first time on a Saturday and was impressed with the beer selection - the menu looked good, but I didn't have a chance to try the food. That week, I was going to dinner with my boss (from out of town) and was very impressed with Twelve. It was great food - friendly service and great drinks! My only criticism is that for a "whiskey" joint, the staff didn't just provide a list of whiskey - we had to ask for it. Will definitely go back and recommend it to anyone looking for some good food - it will not disappoint.

I had the baby back ribs with fries and green beans as a entree and for dessert I had the Banana pudding which I loved! I highly recommend this place to friends and coworkers and the OpenTable community! I really enjoyed it. It wasn’t too loud just right. The service was excellent.

We liked the space and how it was decorated even though the lighting is really low and made reading the menu difficult. The waitress was very nice and the issues with the food were not her fault. We each had a different dish (one combo platter and one with Korean BBQ) but sadly the meat and/or the sauce was unbelievably salty. This is supposed to be a BBQ restaurant, but unfortunately the meal just wasn’t worth the trip down to the South Side. Maybe it was just a bad batch but with other places to try we probably won’t be back.

It is hard to find a BBQ place this good in Pgh. Would highly recommend it. The only caveat is that the brisket was on the salty side, but that could just be how it was made that day.

Restaurant caters to college clientele. Music was blaring for a late afternoon dinner time. When asked if they could turn down a little, wait staff said no and the music is scheduled to go up at different times of the day. Asked for silverware when food came, wait staff did not return and we had to go get ourselves. A good place to watch college football but not a place for a family dinner out.

Twelve is a nice energetic spot. Their fried green tomatoes and pulled pork are favorites of mine on the menu. The brunch dishes are good but very heavy and filling. It definitely gets louder and more energetic into the evening. They are also very accommodating for groups!

We went to Twelve for Restaurant week. The food was tasty but the service was incredibly, frustratingly slow. It was very loud, but I think that aspect would have been fun if we were expecting that.

The food was okay, but a little pricey. The macaroni and cheese was very bland and the brisket would have been better with more of the sauce on the side. Don't get the fries as they were unremarkable and you probably would want to at least try another side. The hush puppies were burnt, but probably would have been good otherwise. The cornbread was excellent! The service was great. They turned the music up way too loud about 9pm, undoubtedly to attract a crowd, but there were more people inside than outside at that hour to cater to.
