We were a little concerned about eating here because the reviews were not good:however, we were very happy with the whole experience. Our waiter Marcos was excellent and attentive. The food was delicious too! I got the fish of the day and my husband got the NY steak. Prices are equivalent to LA where we live.

Me and my wife’s experience here was great!! Jairo was our server and he went above and beyond for us to make sure our time there was great! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Cabo.

Bueno lo voy a escribir en español y ustedes espero lo puedan traducir. El servicio estuvo bueno, pero la comida nos defraudó. Pedimos carne en especial pícaña que es una de las mejores en Brasil. Y vino seca dura y sin ningún sabor! Los precios altísimos! Y eso no no es un problema si vas a comer una buena carne. No volveríamos a este restaurante!

The quality of the food was poor for a high end restaurant. My wife’s steak was at least 33% fat and her baked potato was lukewarm. My grilled tuna was tough (ordered medium well) and the spiced potatoes were nowhere to be found. Others ordered fettuccine with salmon and ribs which were good. Server was busy attending to other tables. We requested another iced tea which never made it to the table. We had noted on Open Table that it was a special occasion and the server acknowledged it when we were seated. Other tables who had special occasions received a slice of cake with some fireworks…not us. The restaurant manager introduced himself prior to being seated but was no where to be found to voice our disappointment. The restaurant had maybe 40 patrons including one large party. The waitstaff did not appear to be overwhelmed. I expected better quality and service at a Vidanta restaurant.

Our server , Marco, has just made the A+ list. He managed to speak with the chef to make the most amazingly delicious wood fired prepared hamburger. The burger and the Caesar salad made our evening so successful! Thank you for the special attention!

The highlight of our trip to Los Cabos. Wonderful service from Marcos and team, lovely atmosphere and great presentation. Food was excellent, although over salted.

It is with ease that I write this review… El Mesquite has the elegant comfort of a Vidanta resort restaurant. I specifically appreciated the variety of seating options..small tables, individual booths , and long family tables. There is ample space for everyone. The ribs were so tender and cooked on an open wood grill and the iceberg salad amazing. Our server, Marco, was enthusiastic and informative! Thank you for a great experience!

La comida que pedimos fue la siguiente: BBQ ribs: muy ricas excelente opción! Si las recomiendo. Rissoto: decía que tenía trufa y no sabía nada a trufa, solo a vino blanco. Verduras al grill: muy ricas, si las recomiendo:

La comida y el ambiente excelente la atención del mesero fue un poco tardada, especifique en la rva que celebraba un cumpleaños si podrían traer un pastel al final . No tomaron en cuenta la petición tuve que pedir al mesero que lo trajera arruinando la sorpresa. Comentaron que los locales teníamos descuento sobre el total de la cuenta , presente mi identificación de local pero no respetaron el descuento.
