Brunch was a joke. Bad coffee, bad service, improperly prepared food, and no soap in the restroom.

Food was just ok. Nothing was terrible but there was at least one issue with each dish - undercooked latkes, runny consistency for the hummus. Everything is ridiculously overpriced considering the small portions are mediocre quality. The only good thing about this place is the cocktails. I’d suggest going there for drinks and skipping the food.

We had a delicious meal here for a family gathering. The food is an elegant and creative twist of deli fare and other classics with new takes on your favorite old fashioned recipes. The hummus, falafel, chicken soup, pastrami, corned beef were all wonderfully tasty and well prepared and presented. Even the chicken livers were great and I am not usually a big fan of those. They have creative cocktails, the service was very welcoming and the Pats were on so we didn't have to choose between dinner and missing them. We will be back.

Pastrami was burnt and without flavor; corned beef was without too much flavor as well. Service was very slow even though the restaurant was not busy at all.

Have eaten here a number of times, always for the same thing-pastrami sandwich which is excellent. Other items not so good. Cole slaw needs something to spice it up-too bland. Potato salad just not to my liking-hard to say how it could be improved. Potato chips were inedible-they were very salty and very sweet.
Every time we have been there, probably 6 times, the service has been excellent with very pleasant servers.
For those who drink, there is a wide variety of drinks, with gin being their specialty.

Expecting traditional deli food, and not expecting to find much I could eat as a vegetarian, I was blown away by the scrumptious and devious takes on a host of traditional dishes - and so many that I could enjoy. Creative mixes of seasonings and great visual presentations. Don't miss the whipped ricotta appetizer!

I had high hopes for Father's, but it was not what I hoped for. The matzo ball soup had (unadvertised) curry powder in it and it was virtually inedible. My companion had it too and thought it needed salt. I thought it was just awful. The manager took it off our bill and agreed that it was "unseasoned" but I don't think that was the issue. My whitefish melt was OK but way too salty. Service was friendly, but this just wasn't what I'm looking for in either "Israeli' (which it really isn't) or Jewish Deli (which is more what it thinks it is, but it's not good Deli either) cuisine.

We had a delicious dinner at Our Father’s—we wish we could have sampled everything! Inventive menu with many small plates—fabulous Israeli food—which were perfect for sharing. We are originally from New York so have had a pastrami sandwich or two in our time—Our Father’s was one of the best we’ve had. We ordered a bottle of wine, but noticed an impressive list of fun cocktails as well. We will absolutely be back!

Great Sunday brunch place, specializing in Israeli food. Need to go back 5-7 more time so I can get each dish I wanted on the menu. Of course, the corned beef, pastrami hash I had was so good, I could see myself ordering it 5-7 more times. And don't get me started on the Jewish deli offerings.

I was told this was a great deli. Its not a deli at all. The only thing familiar to a deli is that it has a Reuben and Rachel on the menu. I found the menu small and limiting. It states its an Israeli restaurant, but I wouldnt say that either. Falafel or Israeli salad is not on the menu and to me those would be staples. The food was ok. The meat slices were thick. I prefer the pastrami over the corned beef, but others in our party preferred the corned beef. Definitely will not be going back.

Went to Our Fathers for lunch. Each ordered the Israeli salad. The waitress advised us that we might want to order something additional, as the salads would be quite small. We ordered the grilled asparagus to share. The salad was very small, similar to a tapas portion, though tasty. The asparagus was also tasty. All needed some freshly baked pita to accompany, so we asked for bread. The waitress abliged and brought what was similar to a very thin tortilla with olive oil and za’tar...was also tasty. All-in-all, the food was delicious, but a little pricey for the portion size of our choices.

I was served raw liver on hummus. (Not slightly pink, completely bloody and not cooked at all.) When we asked the kitchen, they said it was meant to be that way. If that’s the case, given that this isn’t the usual preparation for liver, it should be clearly noted on the menu.

the pastrami sandwich was amazing, one of the best ever.
Also the burek was great.
The rest was so so: The hamachi crudo was strange (great concept and fresh fish, but the chunks of fisch were thick and few, and the granita was actually four cubes of flavored ice that never melted untile the plate was taken away 20 minutes later...) the steak was super bland and a bit dry, the hummus was far from the real thing, the pita bread was paper thin and dried out.

we will probably go back and order only the sandwich.

Delicious matzoh ball soup. Nice green tahini hummus. Small plate Israeli salad qualifies as “tiny” plate. Mushroom boureka: meh. Several dishes were salty, but the eggplant was so salty, almost to the point of inedible. We should have sent it back. Needless to say, we won’t be returning.

I consider it more a bar than a restaurant. We went for the hand cut pastrami. Yes, it was hand cut -- into shreds! The taste was acceptable. The shreds were not. The menu is too limited. Strange that the take-out menu is much more extensive. We could not order coleslaw or French fries with our sandwich, not that we wanted them, but they should have been on the menu. We started with matzah ball soup, understanding it was supposed to be Israeli style, but gray matzah balls? I don't think so. I think this place is only good for people sitting at the bar drinking, and enjoying a few small dishes. It's just a shame as the space is very attractive, but much too noisy for a meal.

We were a small group out on the patio for an early dinner and everything we ordered was fantastic. The ricotta dip was so good, in fact, we ordered it a second time during our meal. Very accommodating to our group, which included someone with a lot of allergies (sesame seeds, nuts) that at first glance seemed to be in a lot of menu items. They were able to modify almost all of the dishes we wanted to try and everyone was impressed with the food. Great warm pita bread with all the dips!

My wife and I enjoyed our meal from beginning to end. To start, the ricotta and hummus both had vibrant flavor and exceeded any expectations we may have had. Their Gin menu is the most exhaustive I've ever seen in my modest experience so we also began our dining experience with a flight of 4 gins. The bartender and server did a great job of providing a variety of gins and explaining the progression we should drink them and the variables of all 4. From there we each ordered our own cocktails; my wife, a French 75, "the best" she's ever had. Myself, a classic gin and tonic with the Sipsmith V.J.O.P. The main courses were very good; my wife ordered the Matzo Ball Soup and I had the Falafel. The atmosphere was excellent and modern while still relaxed and invoked a local feel. Beyond the gin menu, they had a solid cocktail, beer, and wine list.

Had their corned beef sandwich, served on surprisingly soft and warm black bread. The ricotta and honey dip was out of this world, served with a paper like bread. Many new flavours and preparations - including a creamy humus far better than the usual fare elsewhere. The entire meal of three appetisers and two entrees were served in... get this...5 minutes! Matzo ball soup was a winner too. We’ll be back, oh yeah!

This was my second visit. The first time the food was superb. The menu is different now and we did not enjoy the food as much on this visit. The chicken was perfectly cooked, moist and tender. But the sides of cheese and hummus that accompanied it did not make for a good combo. The octopus was so salty that it was almost inedible. The eggplant small plate was ordinary. The cocktails also seemed weaker than before. This seems like one of those places that hasn't caught on and may be headed downhill.
