The French dip was just overwhelming with how much horseradish was put on the sandwich. It literally took my breath away from how much there was. And I mean that not in a good way. The food is sub par for the price.

It’s not that much fun squeezing in next to another couple. It doesn’t allow for any private conversation while out on your dinner date as those sitting next to you can hear your every word and even pass the bread basket. I would recommend eating outside and brave with a coat. The seating provided post three week reservation was poor.

The Saturday brunch buffet is amazing! It has a wide variety of fresh fruits, crepes, meats, and cheeses. We love the outdoor seating, even when it's a little cool outside. Plenty of heaters and just a good overall environment.

Had to wait 30 minutes past reservation time to be seated, however, staff made up for it by getting our order in and food out quickly. Food was excellent and service was great!

Waiter was excellent, food was good but not incredible. The asparagus soup was not good but the French onion soup was delicious. Husband got the salmon cake salad and it was good .The setting is lovely and the music is good. Highly recommend this place for any occasion

We tried out their Saturday breakfast buffet and it was great. There was the usual breakfast fare with tasty additions such as the shrimp and grits (kept separate in case anyone wanted plain grits) , french toast made with baguettes that didn't need anything extra unless you wanted something, and yummy pastries. The price of the buffet also included coffee or sweet tea which made it well worth the drive over from Evans.

Service was excellent. Server could have done a batter job of explaining the preparation of the dishes. Quantity of the dishes was disappointing. Ordered the lamb chops and they were 90% bone and 10% meat. Left a lot to be desired. Flounder was served whole with the exception of the head. This was not explained. Next time we know better to ask and maybe send something back if it's not desirable.

Very cozy, a bit bit crowded, but felt very much like a neighborhood place. Food was very good. Went back the next day to get slices of their amazing cakes since I was too full to eat dessert after dinner.

Inside the restaurant seemed a little small but they make up for it with their delicious food! The service was was very good but hard to hear bc of the noise level. Restaurant went out of their way to make a special dinner item for my occasion and it was by far the best Beef Wellington ive ever had! Will definitely be coming back! Smaller parties of maybe 4 or less would fit decently. Anything larger would seem to be an issue but they also have very nice outside seating with more spacious tables and even heaters and thick blankets for cold days/nights. Love this place!

This is a second visit and is again very high on my list for all the right reasons to dine out. We were somewhat pushed here for dinner after another restaurant failed on a reservation we had. Read my review of Fifth and Finch. Needless to say Manuel's saved the evening from being lost. We made reservations quickly on Open table once we decided not to eat at Fifth and Finch due to an issue they created. We were meet at the door and seated quickly at an outside table. It was cool but they provide nice warm blankets and lite all the heaters so it was very comfortable. Our server was very friendly, she knew the menu and recommended a great bottle of wine. We had the sampler platter, I do recommend it with a good bottle of wine. For dinner a Fillet of Beef, Lamb Chops, salad and more wine. The ambiance outside was great with the Carolina street scene and an almost full moon in addition to the fire from the heaters. I Highly recommend for a date night if you like sitting outside on a nice cool evening or a Sunday brunch. The food was excellent, fresh ingredients, well seasoned and the plating was well done. Manuel's is on the list of must dine at when in Augusta.

Our first time into that area of town. Very nice, quaint atmosphere. For an early Wednesday evening, we were surprised the place was near empty. The food was not as good as we were hoping for. Shared the 30oz pepper crusted ribeye. Presentation was beautiful and the meat was tender but over seasoned with peppercorn. Also it could have had the fat trimmed better, especially since the lighting in the restaurant is so dark. It was hard to see to self trim and its pretty displeasing to bite into a hunk of fat. In addition, the entire platter was just luke warm and would have been so much better piping hot. The deserts were beautiful and very tasty but the coffee was also just luke warm. The waitress was very nice and provided good service.

New Year’s Day celebration. We were hoping Manuel’s would have some off-norm brunch menu or mimosa/Bloody Mary specials to celebrate the new year. However, it was normal menu (business as usual for a Tuesday). Server and staff were fantastic (they always are), but food was status-quo and overall experience seemed over priced. I’ll dine at Manuel’s again and recommend the restaurant, but learned not to make assumptions about New Year’s Day at Manuel’s.

We so enjoyed out date night here! It was a first time for us and the waitress Cary was super helpful and offer her suggestions on the menu. And that sauce on the two person steak is true kiss the cook n the bloodline that came up with it. We got addicted to the cream brulee so bad that it was a sad thing to see it go. We plan on cooking back for my birthday next month!

Delicious food (I had elk) and good ambiance. Service was perhaps a smidge underwhelming. The wife and I waited a good while to place our order, and then again to get our checks.

Manuel's staff was great at handling our party of 7 and our waitress was extremely attentive to all of us while still giving us the time to just enjoy our meal together. We were doing our annual gift exchange and didn't feel rushed by the staff. Plus they made sure to bring out our food between opening gifts. All this and i still haven't talked about the food, which was all amazing! definitely going to go back!
