Robert's Pizza and Dough Company
I love Robert’s. They just starting being open for lunch. I wish they had a smaller lunch size pizza because 1 person can’t eat a whole pie for lunch. A calzone would be a good option too or a meatball sandwich. Also, I love the appetizer risotto balls & they don’t offer those at lunch unfortunately. The salads are very good & meatballs are some of the best I’ve ever had.
Great food as always.
Truly the best pizza ever. And the grilled octopus salad and brownie amaizing too.
Delicious pizza, the crust and bake were excellent. The salads were overpriced for their size, got a beet salad with like 10 pieces of greens. But would go back again for the pizza for sure.
Amazing pizza - dough is perfect, toppings are cool, and service is fantastic.
Excellent restaurant off the “main drag”
Great food and great service. Will be going back.
Family in Chicago for visit
I was pleasantly surprised because the space was bigger than I anticipated and they had a good crowd. I thought it seemed like it is hidden and people would have a hard time finding it. The pizza and the meat balls were excellent. The service was fantastic. I will definitely go back.
Food is as always great
We had a couple’s night out (and took pies home for our teenage boys). The burrata special and meatball appetizers were excellent followed be a Brussels sprout, bacon and date pizza. Outstanding!
Best thin crust I've had in Chicago! Really glad they reopened. New location is really nice.
Phil Vettel of the Trib raved about this place so we were excited to check it out. We were so happy to get a table in front of the open window to have a perfect view of the water. Our server started out so great. She helped me select a fabulous wine, Villa Graziella red blend. Our meatballs with giardinera appetizer was delicious. With our servers help, we selected 1/2 Jay pizza and 1/2 duck prosciutto. The bottom crust was as delicious as the Trib review described however the top of the crust was very dark, which made it a bit dry. We were nosy with neighbors on either side of us and ours was the darkest. Still tasty, but I’d love to go back and try again. Our server and the bus staff must have been given too many tables since we never saw anyone again until we flagged down our check. Empty water glasses and only one drink for each of us! Overall delicious pizza and great atmosphere!
Loved the pizza especially the 3 cheese pizza. Also one of group was gluten sensitive and we ordered the gluten-free crust on one pizza and it was very good. We all felt we would have been happy eating it if it was the only option. Conveniently located next to Winter’s Jazz, too.
Location and ambience were great. Servers were inexperienced. Menu to the point with choices for most tastes. Pizza as greasy. Crust was dry. So food was average.
We stopped in for a birthday pizza dinner and it was outstanding! Best gluten free pizza MN the city - the dough is truly something special!!!
Great spot to meet friends and share wonderful pizza.
Great place for pizza in an out of the way place. Beautiful setting on the water. Service was wonderful and the wine list had a little bit of everything. Thanks Roberts Pizza for a great evening. We highly recommend the meatballs.
Meatballs and heirloom burrata were yummy. Prosciutto and arugula pizza was amazing. Great location and ambiance.
Food was great. Terrible service.
Fantastic light crust, fresh ingredients, friendly service. Great respite for this New Yorker living in Chicagoo.
Best pizza in Chicago.
Located on the Ogden slip, this restaurant is tucked away in a quiet corner of the city. The pizza is excellent and the service was top notch. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a thin crust neopolitan pizza.
Average pizza. Spotty service. Nice location. Extremely pricey drinks for no reason.
Delicious pizza with a nice view. Believe the Tribune food critic when he raves about the crust. It is just about perfection. Further, if you are GF, then the GF crust is for you. My wife is GF, and she complains about most GF pizza crusts as being from frozen, but this is made fresh. The toppings were great, maybe the prosciutto could have been distributed a little more evenly, but still a nice pie. We will definitely be back.
We were disappointed that they got rid of the skirt steak entree which we loved last time. Loved the mussels and beet salad. The crust of the pizza was still amazing. Wish there could be a bit more topping for more flavors. Good addition to the neighborhood.
Such a great place to go with family or friend. We missed Roberts pizza since they closed on Ohio street! Awesome place also next to Jazz club. My favorites are fennel and fungi pizza.
Great pizza, nice location on water, one small issue with our order in terms of wrong pizza given to us
A great addition to Streeterville! I decided to try something totally different: a fennel pizza with braised fennel, fennel sausage, and a touch of honey. Utterly delicious! Also made a great Negroni. If you like thin crust pizza, you should give Robert's a try.
Great pizza! Crust is unbelievable. Owner came over and asked how everything was. Will be going back next time we visit Chicago.
Robert's is the best. Pizzas are of course great. Not "Chicago" style, not "new York" style. Just great thin crust pizza with a mostly traditional format executed perfectly and adding in a hint of creativity.
Grill Octopus Salad and Mussels were also excellent. Arancini are good but not great. Bonci does them better, but may be a personal preference thing.
Food was great. Service slow. We ordered two pizzas which were delicious but delivered 15 minutes apart, without apology or explanation.
I was going next door to a jazz concert at the Winter's Jazz Club, so I chose Robert's for dinner before. It was the perfect choice. I loved being on the water in a quiet neighborhood. The service and food were very good. I will definitely go back!
Everything we had was delicious, from the meatballs and salad, to the sausage pizza. Service was excellent, food came out fast, would definitely recommend to tourists and locals alike!
Didn’t like that we had a reservation and were seated in the back room away from
Robert's is a wonderful neighborhood restaurant just off the main path. The pizza and service are excellent and it is very reasonably priced. It is mostly locals from the neighborhood, though the occasional tourist finds there way in.
Good pizza and nice location! The music was a little loud which made conversation a challenge
Great Pizza. Enjoyed table by the window. Servers were personable. Look forward to next visit.
Good Place to go if you are stuck by Navy Pier. Good Pizza and right on the river.
Great crust and creative toppings.
