Excellent experience, food is always very good and Sonia the service.

Felt very comfortable. They practiced social distancing and kept tables clean. Food was delicious.

We enjoyed a lovely dinner next to the center fireplace. The service was excellent and our meals were delicious. We had the special appetizer of linguini with cockles which was wonderful. The salmon entre and the filet mignon were just perfect. Service was wonderful. We wish the staff all the very best during these challenging times.

Great food, great service and great atmosphere... The one thing I will call out is that the drinks are over priced. I work in Manhattan and even down there a single Bombay and tonic isn’t $20. The food is worth every penny but the drinks are not.

I've been going to Restaurant X since shortly after it opened over 20 years ago. It has maintained a very high standard of food, service, and atmosphere the whole time. Really a great place to go if you are in the area, and worth the trip if you're not!

New Years Eve and it was an over priced prefix menu, food was okay, but certainly not worth the $85pp for a app, main and desert.

Restaurant X is the best restaurant in Rockland County. As always it was wonderful. The ambience is perfect. The service is terrific. And the food is absolutely delicious. It never disappoints. Peter Kelly is the best restaurant owner/ chef ever.

Appetizer portions are on the smaller size.
Server did not come over after we got our food to check on us. We wanted more water and didn’t get it until we were leaving.

Our family's traditional Christmas Eve dinner. Certainly wouldn't consider anywhere else. Once again Peter Kelly and his staff lived up to every expectation.

Christmas Eve dinner was absolutely delicious. I was worried what we would be getting into since there were no prices on the menu posted. But was pleasantly surprised that it was 100$ per person especially with the quality and quantity of the dishes. My favorite was the truffle risotto appetizer so yummy!!! Thanks fir a lovely Christmas Eve!

Christmas Eve dinner - perfect in every way! Appetizers of oysters rockefeller, scallops and coconut shrimp. Entrees beef wellington and duck. Topped off with the Yule log.

Outdoor seating was well done. Food served hot and delicious.

The Sunday Brunch was superb, in term s of the quality and quality of food. The presentation was very good. Our waitress Victoria was excellent and we had two other servers who kept pouring the Proseco.
At $45 price fixed was a good value for the food and ambiance

Food is always very good... service was off a little compared to past visits. But still good!!

Restaurant X continues to be a go-to fine dining experience in Rockland County. Food was excellent; dumpling appetizer was memorable; my companion's short ribs and my beef Wellington were both superb. We said "what diet?" and went for the baked Alaska at dessert--worth every calorie! Service was attentive, and we appreciated the chef's visit to our table.

The wine was perfect and the beef Wellington was superb.

This place never disappoints. I had the dumpling appetizer, the swordfish and the lemon sabayon. Perfection

It was our first time trying this restaurant and to be honest I was expecting to have much better food then we had. Everything was so so, dessert was a total disappointment. I doubt we will ever come back there!

Holiday with family staff were great and owner/chef is a great guy who really “gets it”.

Bully Boy is pricey but worth it. Food is excellent, service attentive at just the right level, ambiance spacious yet cozy. Enjoy!

Excellent service from waitress but salad and other courses were served a little too quickly and on the same small bread plate. Was very dissatisfied with that aspect of the meal.

Bar and dining around the fireplace have always been my favorite! Delicious food, excellent wine selection and solid service won't disappoint.

As always Restaurant X has the best food and the best service in Rockland county. Never any comparison.

We were very disappointed. We never received a confirmation call stating they don’t accept Restaurant Week on Saturday which they tell you when they call to confirm ( manager agreed we did not get called). My husbands Mule drink from the bar had to be returned as it was vile. We were asked to leave after 2 1/4 hours in a very rude manor as they needed the table. Would not recommend to a friend or enemy . Would appreciate a call but not counting on it.

After being mostly confined to my house for eight months, this was the perfect experience! I dined with three friends. As we entered we admired the fresh yellow roses in the lobby. Our temperatures were checked my the maitre d, and we were escorted into the largest room, where all tables were socially distanced and we had a beautiful view of the pond and ducks. Our table was adorned with more yellow roses.
We ordered from the Restaurant Week menu. Two of us ordered the tempura shrimp, and we both agreed they were fresh and perfectly prepared, served on some nice greens. Our table mates had the wild mushroom ravioli and scallion risotto. Both had rave reviews about their dishes! Proceeding to the entrees, three of us agreed that the Chatham cod was perfectly cooked and that the topping of micro mushrooms was inspired and tasty. Number four loved his braised short ribs. He said they “melted in his mouth!” For dessert, the two carrot cakes were scrumptious. My profiterole was just perfect! The shell was freshly baked and crispy, the ice cream just soft enough and the puddle of chocolate sauce helped pull everything together! We ordered reasonably priced Chardonnay and Riesling by the glass. The meal was amazing! I sang to my car radio as I drove home!

Never disappointed with their food. Worth every penny especially during restaurant week quite the bargain. Can’t wait until they are able to return to their original brunch on Sundays. The best ever!

Excellent service, everything was very good, portions could have been a little bigger. Not crazy about the carrot cake.

Can’t complain. Food was great sever was great. Drinks were great. We went for restaurant week and it was the best restaurant week I’ve ever done. Usually places skimp out a little bit they didn’t. I haven’t been there in a couple years but now I’ll definitely be back sooner

We went to Restaurant X for dinner during Restaurant Week 2020. As in keeping with the restaurant’s reputation, the dinner was excellent from appetizer to dessert. I never came away from Restaurant X & Bully Buy Bar disappointed and I’ve been there several times!

In spite of the on-going pandemic, we felt very safe at Restaurant X. We were seated in a very comfortable alcove, by a window, very far from any other diners. The food, as always, was superb. Our server suggested a delicious wine.

Restaurant X was exquisite - my only regret is that I have not visited this place sooner. The restaurant is set in a pleasant neighborhood; we watched ducks on a little pond as we ate. The food was excellent, as was the service. Since we went on Restaurant Week, the menu was abbreviated, but it was definitely representative of a place to where we'd like to return.

Always enjoy going to Restaurant X Bully Boy a classic restaurant with friendly staff and great ambience.
