Excellent service from Colin!

Food was some of the best food I’ve ever eaten! Pork belly appetizer is amazing. And this is one of the few restaurants where you should not overlook the chicken dish ... WOW!!

Don’t miss this place!!!

Great food. Large portions. Farm to table. I recommend the fried oyster salad, duck breast and any fish. Everything was very fresh and well prepared. Our waiter, Alex, did a terrific job of explaining the various dishes. One of the new wave in the wearhouse district. A smaller restaurant, which makes for an intimate experience. In my opinion, one of the top dinner spots in NOLA.

Service was over the top. Staff was attentive and even proactively offered to move us due to a loud table nearby. They also brought us champagne for the inconvenience. Food was wonderful. John and Katherine took service to another level and we will definitely return. Thank you for an amazing evening.

Business dinner for four. Glad we made a reservation, even on a Wednesday, because we got the only open table when we arrived. The service was excellent - super-knowledgable about the food & wine menu, made suggestions without being pushy. That giant pork chop truly is out of this world. The pre-dinner cocktail was nothing amazing, but otherwise five stars all over. Enjoy!

Wow! From our server (Alex) to our food, it was fantastic!!!! We had the quail and shrimp appetizers!! GREAT!! Followed by the chicken and pork chop entrees!! Best place we ate at during our entire stay. This is a ‘cant miss’ recommendation. Easy access! Great part of town!! We’ll be back again and again on our future visits to NOLA!!!

I struggle in evaluating this restaurant. It is well reviewed by others but we found the service to be peculiar and the food just okay. Had we not had an exemplary experience the night before at another restaurant I might have been tempted to rate this place higher. The couple next to us ordered steaks but their sizzling plates had nothing on them except for the meat - no sauce, no vegetables. New Orleans has such good dining opportunities I doubt we will be back here.

We had a group of 9 for dinner. Everyone enjoyed each dish and meal. The gumbo is the best I've ever had! The steaks were also amazing. Don't forget to leave room for dessert. Worth it! The servers were attentive without being intrusive. One of the best meals I've had in New Orleans when visiting.

I wanted to like Restaurant Rebirth, but it fell short of expectations. We thought it would be perfect for our 5th wedding anniversary - great food and intimate. It was neither. The duck entrée sounded delicious, but the flavors were too much the same, no contrast between the duck and sides. The quail in the appetizer was excellent, but the foie gras flavor was lost in the boudin rice stuffing. The romaine salad was good with fresh ingredients, with tasty fried oysters as a taste accent. The complimentary bread was way too sweet for cornbread. I did like their take on the Sazerac cocktail made with cognac and absinthe. We were told it was closer to the original NOLA drink. The atmosphere on a busy Friday night seemed too bustling and noisy to be tagged as romantic. The lighting is fairly bright and the inside is well decorated but cramped.

The hostesses and wait staff were excellent and very helpful, with great communication, teamwork and responsiveness to our questions. A shout out to the young man who cleared the table and gave us the dessert rundown. He was not only polite, but clearly eager to work and share his enthusiasm.

We didn't try the limited desserts because they had no ice cream as an option or side. We were pointed to the sister restaurant, Galliano, down the street and had a delicious blackberry crisp with vanilla ice cream. Yum! All in all, it was a good experience, but not 5 star in our opinion. We were impressed enough with the chef, however, that we will give Galliano's a try next time!

The service at Rebirth was impeccable. The food choices are varied, interesting and flavorful. The restaurant is small and loud. Go with the staff recommendations. In addition to the menu, they have specials so be sure to ask. All ingredients are locally sourced and nothing is frozen so everything is fresh. Also, the chef is not shy with seasoning so this is the first restaurant he did not use salt.

This restaurant was suggested by a fellow blogger who lives in NOLA so for our first visit to the city we knew we had to check it out. Dinner did not disappoint! We arrived super early for our reservation and they were able to seat us without hesitation. Our server (Oliver I think) made fantastic recommendations and was super knowledgeable of the menu. I got the fish of the day, the seafood chowder and the pork belly appetizer- One of the best meals I've ever had!

Great little gem of a restaurant. Excellent farm-to-table restaurant!! The food is outstanding and the service is excellent. We started with the Pork Belly Appetizer. The sweet turnip greens complimented the pork belly very nicely and provided balance to the pork. We couldn’t get enough of the crispy outer edge. The main course was a filet which was cooked to perfection and brought out sizzling in butter on a cast iron skillet. Top 5 steak according to my date. My main course was the fish of the day, pompano. The pompano was served in two small filets and served over a bed of mixed vegetables and gnocchi. The pompano was perfectly prepared and melted in my mouth, the vegetables were delicious. The portions are generous and you will want to stop eating long before the food is gone but since it tastes so good you will likely keep eating. For dessert we ordered the white chocolate bread pudding. I personally found it to be a little too sweet but my date thought it was outstanding.

Based on the online reviews I had high expectations. Maybe that was the problem. Good yes, great no. We were a party of eight celebrating a 21st birthday with family so a wide range of ages. Everyone felt the same afterwards. For the price not again.

I traveled to new orleans and chose Restaurant Rebirth as my main fancy expensive dinner and I'm so glad I did! The food was delicious, I got the eggplant wrapped shrimp for an appetizer and pork chop for dinner. Portions are large, good for the price. Only thing is we were below a vent that leaked every once in a while, didn't bother me too bad though.
