The food was excellent in every way. Kudos to the topnotch serving staff - all professional, knowledgeable and pleasant to deal with.
It was great!
The staff was outstanding. Gave up our table reservation to eat at the bar because Colleen was so entertaining.
One of my favorite restaurants in NOLA.
Invited some of my customers from Arkansas here for dinner and they stated they had never had food so good and that all of the food was awesome. They will definitely be back!
Food, Service and ambiance was great!
Raven the hostess at the door is fantastic!!! Manny the owner is great too!
That was the best pork chop I have ever had!!
Our third visit and Restaurant Rebirth didn’t disappoint! We make a reservation every time we are in town from Baton Rouge. This is truly one of the BEST dinner experiences in New Orleans. Creative and versatile menu with an old New Orleans ambiance. The restaurant is on the smaller side with only 15-20 tables so they book up fast. ORDER THE PORK BELLY APPETIZER..DON’T QUESTION IT, JUST DO IT. Ask for ALEX, he is AWESOME! We’ll be back next weekend for the NFC Championship game! #WHODAT!
The service was not top notch from the time we arrived and were greeted—our table was not ready and we were invited to wait at the bar where two seats were available for our party of four—things did not go smoothly. Our table had service from multiple wait staff who did not pick up where the previous staff person left off, we felt there was no communication between the staff serving us. To top it all off we ordered dessert which took at minimum 20 minutes to arrive- we ordered from one wait staff person, had spoons delivered by another, and finally dessert was delivered by the manager. She paid for dessert which was sweet, but not enough to take the bad taste out of our mouths.
My wife and I we’re celebrating our 18th anniversary and had a very enjoyable meal. Service by Giacomo was excellent. We had the seafood chowder which was good, followed by the farmhouse salad and the grilled romaine salad. Fries oysters on the romaine salad were pefectly fried and were tasty. We both had the filets with sides of the okra and gnocchi and mushrooms. We ended the evening with the creme brûlée which also was excellent. We shared a bottle of wine which was moderately priced and they gave us a small tasting of fried eggplant to start. We had a very good meal and would recommend this restaurant to anyone.
I enjoyed everything about this restaurant. Our service was wonderful. Our food was amazing, no bite was wasted. It was a perfect place for dinner.
The food and the service was excellent. The bbq pork belly on the bed greens was delicious. My wife had the redfish with crabmeat and I had the porkchop. I would definitely recommend and come back. A special thank to Paul our waiter that guided us through the menu.
Second visit...The food was delicious and the service was awesome! Wonderful destination for date night. This restaurant continues to be one of our favorites.
Service was excellent. Food was outstanding. Pork Chop is a mean to behold. Vegs with pork chop delicious.
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the dining experience, from the cocktails to the dessert, everything tasted great and expertly executed. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and friendly. The gumbo was very good and the duck was excellent. We've already got a reservation (which I highly advise) to return.
Just amazing! Second time here and even better. Everything was incredible but pork belly, gumbo, duck and bread pudding were insane. Our waiter was so knowledgeable about the foods and the preparation of each.
This has become a NOLA favorite.
The food was tasty, serving size generous and arrived promptly. But service was very average, seating was cramped, and it was noisy. There seemed to be a lot of staff front of house, with little to do so just lingering and chatting to each other or unnessisarily wandering around and asking if your meal is OK, which by the fifth time is just plain annoying.
Simply excellent. Our server was amazing. The food was unique and outstanding. It was a birthday dinner and we were visiting from out of town. I will go again next time I am in New Orleans!
The food was very delicious, service was outstanding, timing was really good, even the waiter knew my name from the reservation and we had a good talk with him. Had a good talk about the menu and other things. Also got very good recommendations for a cocktail bar we went afterwards. Overall it was a perfect evening :)
Excellent food, outstanding service by Paul. Small, quaint restaurant with delicious appetizers, entrees, and desserts. Would rank this as our number one NOLA restaurant.
We went to this restaurant for New Years Eve dinner and I was not sure how that would be as it was a limited menu. I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised and really enjoyed the meal. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes fine dining and good food.
Little delayed getting seated even with reservations, but it’s a smaller restaurant and you can’t control people that aren’t in a hurray. Manager comped us with dessert so that was a bonus. Great meal as always. Look forward to next year. Highly recommend.
This was a very excellent prepared meal with pork chops, lamb and duck as our entrees. Our waiter discussed the menu and pointed out the entrees in detail which was very helpful in selection. The lamb was delicious and came with sauces prepared in the kitchen. All the salads were fresh with fruit and nuts included. The gumbo was served hot in a small kettle and was the best I have ever had. Save some room for the bread pudding as it is well worth it.
The server was excellent. The white chocolate bread pudding was the best part. Food was good, but I’ve had better in NOLA.
Food was fantastic. Loved it!!! Will go again soon.
Unreal !! Best restaurant in NOLA.
Absolutely exquisite. Great food, excellent service, quaint ambience.
We had an amazing meal. The service was impeccable. We asked a lot of questions and our server was incredibly informative and helpful. The sazerac was delightful. The grilled romaine with oysters was superb. The pork chop was perfection. I can't say enough good things about this meal! Loved.
Disappointing dinner for 7 of us (reservation made weeks in advance), our server started pleasantly but then he was weirdly critical of the one menu change anybody requested, and again unpleasant when his dish description was interrupted once for a question. There was a long hair in one dish, and no offer to comp; request for desert menu forgotten; overall pleasant staff but not as professional as the prices. The mixed seafood was way way too garlicky and oily, both diners who got it felt it was not very good. The pork chop was fine, I heard. Appetizers and deserts and drinks were good. Overall, I wouldn’t go back, or recommend: especially, for example, at $39 for stuffed flounder that was so-so (too much breaded topping and with sweet onion relish, too confusing).
Absolutely superb. Seemed to be very much a local favorite. Entrees were perfect and the coffee flavored creme brulee was an awesome choice.
The best meal I’ve ever had...PERIOD!!!!
Best restaurant of several visited on recent trip. Pork belly appetizer was very tasty. Our entrees were pork chops and duck. Very well cooked and presented, overall a great meal.
Food was amazing. Innovative menu, attentive and knowledgeable servers, great intimate atmosphere
Great food and service! The 4.8 rating hits the mark.
Amazing place, food , service. Nola’s best kept secret. Dinned at Rebirth this past Sat nite for hubby’s birthday. I made a note on Open table that it was a birthday dinner and the server made sure to wish him a happy birthday from the moment we arrived. Food was exquisite, the bread pudding is out of this world. Not rushed, took their time but at the same time we were taken care of every minute. If at New Orleans dining at Rebirth is a must!
Delicious. The appetizer and entrees we had were all wonderful. Definitely worth the trip!
The plate was a picture! The waitstaff was accommodating and friendly. The duck I ordered was tender and juicy, cooked to perfection. The red snapper was outstanding.
Our party of 6 had the most amazing dinner here from Gonzales prior to the Elton John concert. I started with a cup of gumbo and it came put piping hot in a little cast iron pot with a lid. My friends enjoyed the pork cheeks. Two of the gentleman had the Cowboy ribeye and both said it was perfect! Two of us had the 8 oz filet medium and it was delicious. The steaks came out hot & sizzling on a cast iron skillet. We had a side of gnocchi with wild mushrooms and they were scrumptious. One of my friends had the scallops and said they were the best she’s ever had - cooked perfectly! I don’t remember what my other friend had but it was off the appetizer menu and she enjoyed it too. We had to leave for the concert so we were not able to enjoy desserts. Definitely a place that we will dine again.
The food & service were excellent. One of the best meals I’ve ever had in New Orleans.
Wonderful food. Very friendly owner. Good experience
