   The food was excellent, and the service staff was fantastic. Very friendly and knowledgeable about the food. It was clear that this was a restaurant that has many regular customers, as several of the tables around us had service staff that came by to say hello even though they were serving other tables. That is the mark of an outstanding restaurant.

   Superb, as usual. This is our favorite spot in the PVB area and it always lives up to the billing. The food is always exquisitely prepared, we love the booth seating the main room, and our server (Joey) was top-notch. I highly recommend you request him when making your reservation. One small nit... my wife and I split the Bibb lettuce salad. Even taking that into consideration it was still a little small on the serving size side. They could do a little better this one. But all in all, we think there's no finer place for a great meal and evening in PVB and highly recommend.

    Server took dessert order at the beginning and only asked 3 of the 4 couples what they wanted so one couples was left out on dessert. 1/2 off wine discount was also not applied, but was thankfully caught before the card was ran.

    I felt like a VIP, from start to finish. My partner & I felt like royalty. The Chef’s table was superb! My duck entree, Burrata app & foie Gras was fantastic 😋 Liz is a gnocchi connoisseur, so she thought that could use some more love, but nothing to be upset about. The sommelier was mega friendly & helpful. Our server, Taylor, was extremely nice & attentive without being overbearing. Marshal greeted us right away, and that was very cool & special.     We celebrated our anniversary a Restaurant Medure last evening. It was a lovely dinner! Interesting buratta preparation with pesto & spaghetti squash, plus our fish francaise was delish, as always. Shelby, our server, made us feel welcomed and was friendly & attentive. Just a note, since we dine out a lot, the recent problem with restaurants finding competent wait staff is usually very evident. Yet, Medure's wait staff is always so professional and most seem to be long term employees. So we asked Shelby why she liked working there. She said the owners made the employees feel valued and provided benefits. So other restaurants should take note!

    Shrimp & noodle egg rolls, fresh fish special, and shrimp radiatori dishes were excellent. Chocolate soufflé was scrumptious too! Would definitely recommend it.

    Visited on Valentine’s Day 2023. Special menu only. Very busy evening as expected. However, restaurant was understaffed. Dinner took over two hours, we left with dessert takeout or would have been longer. Food was fair at best, served lukewarm. 4 course dinner was little better than a casual steakhouse. Waitress was nice but seemed new and disorganized. For the price (nearly $200pp with limited alcohol) this should have been an amazing experience. Expected far more from one of the “best” restaurants in Jax. Will not return and recommend looking at other options.

    We absolutely love Medures it’s my favorite place to dine.. last night was for my Birthday which is 02/15 but we went early because of Valentine Day. We go as often as we can..never fails to impress and everything is delicious.

    I love this place! And I hate to do this But yesterday is a strong reflection of my last 2 visits. Last nights visit did it for me! When I first used to come to Medure it was known for a really smooth classy place, with prestige vibe and style. I feel like some of that is out the window. If you see my last review to this review- some time has changed and apparently so has the culture inside. The last 2 times I have gone, my wife and I get thrown to the far back, (not sure why, especially when I have made reservations way in advance). This last time- it was so loud in that back room that I had to request a move to another area. The host mentioned this has been a common complaint about that area- so when you go, please say to be seated elsewhere. The food to come out is extra slow. We arrived at 7pm, and between the time we sat down and were served for the entire experience was about 2 hours. It just seemed extra long. It was never like that before! Servers don't wear gloves like they used to when they serve your food. All the servers are still spot on! Food for the most part was spot on with flavors, spices and herbs! Meatloaf was a tad bit dry. Portions are small. So you definitely need to do a appetizer and dessert to feel full. The salmon tempura was certainly a hit! The soufflé and blackberry cobbler are amazing.
