Every bite was delicious and the patio is the best in town. One of the best restaurants anywhere. Superb service.
Live in Phoenix where we have numerous outstanding restaurants and have to say I wish we could have Restaurant Martin here. Food was incredible, all entree s ordered by our party were perfection. Prices also extremely good for the value.
Excellent food and great wine list. Loved the lamb that I had and my husband loved the chicken. Good service without being stuffy Can’t wait to visit again!
As always, everything was 5 star. Lunch on the patio, just before the rains came!! We'll be back.
The food is superior at Martins! They were busy but handled us effortlessly. A loud group in attendance which made it had for us to have a conversation!
Fabulous setting, service and food!
Outdoors in Santa Fe in July is truly wonderful. Greta provided excellent service. Food was delicious. Would recommend and will return.
A real gem of a restaurant. We loved being there and loved the meal!!
We sat on back patio for dinner. We all ordered Chilled Spring Pea Soup and Sauteed Gulf Prawns for shared appetizers. They were both excellent. For our main entree, we all ordered fish (yellow fin tuna and red grouper). The fish was very fresh and artistically presented with vegetables and sauces. For sides, we had the Crispy Green Chile-Manchego Cheese Polenta and the Fresh Asparagus. All were awesome, with intricate unique flavors. For dessert we shared the Molten Bittersweet Chocolate Cake, the White Chocolate-Coconut Semifreddo and the assorted House Made Sorbets. All were excellent. Service was very attentive, fast and friendly. All in all, an awesome meal, evening and great food and drinks. Only recommendation is to back off a bit on promoting the book and to not add tip to a small party check (we would have given them more, but didn't like them adding to check).
Overall I think the experience was good, sometimes you get a good waiter sometime you do not, Saturday we did not.
Food was good and my date an I have dietary restrictions that were easily managed here.
Food was superb; inventive but accessible. Portions generous, which made for great value. Service excellent: attentive without being over the top
The presentation of the food was lovely. The special appetizer was delicious, as was the tuna tartar. The price was a bit high. We were seated on the patio with reservations at 7. There was no curtain to cut the glare of the sun and one of our party spent about 30 minutes holding a menu to stop the glare.
We had a very nice evening. It was our third time to eat there but our first time to score a table outside. We were also fortunate to be in southwest corner of the terrace, out of the sun. A few of the tables had sun until about 7:30. Our waiter was an enthusiastic Hispanic man who was a plus to our evening. Food was good to great.
Restaurant Martin was a completely enjoyable experience. The food was excellent with really good tasting combinations. The atmosphere was elegant and laid back at the same time with a lot of variety of seating (indoors, outdoors and open air). The service was good and wait staff were all friendly. We were in Santa Fe for a visit but if we lived here, Restaurant Martin would be a frequent treat!
Perhaps the best meal we have both had in Santa Fe. The chicken and salmon were impeccable. We live in LA and Phoenix respectively and eat well in both cities, but Martín’s craftsmanship and quality ingredients are difficult to match.
lunch, but a special one does bring out the picky in me. Seems like an overuse of house made tortilla chip/strip things. Too many in the soup, and then they appeared again for the main course.
Restaurant Martin is a local favorite and we are never disappointed.
Wonderful food, service, and setting. Beautiful, quiet dining on their patio.
Our best meal in Santa Fe with delicious food, great patio seating and attentive service. Would highly recommend!
The meal was excellent. Service started off good and quickly went south. Couldn't find someone to get our check and then it took a very long time to get it back for signature.
Restaurant Martin is a wonderful Santa Fe restaurant.
We found it interesting that alcoholic drinks are limited to wine and beer.
Our server, so genuinely lovely and engaging,
assured that our final evening in Santa Fe would be a memorable one.
The outdoor patio sheer delight.
The pea soup is beyond delicious!
Always consistent, food was very good, service appropriate and hospitality enjoyable, happy to visit again
The best meal we’ve had in Santa Fe! Truly superior food. Great service, great people, great food.
Loved this place. Beautiful. Had mushroom bisque, lobster crepe, elk and filet. Loved everything. Service was very good.
Food was terric, atmosphere was comfortable. Service was great, friendly and knowledgeable.
The food was to die for, and the service was impeccable.
Unquestionably one of the best restaurants in Santa Fe
We were traveling and pleasantly surprised to discover Martines. Our meals were excellent (especially my dessert, which may have been the best dessert I've ever eaten!). The ambiance on the patio was a wonderful respite from our recent days of traveling and the wait staff attentive and friendly. We will be back next time we're in Santa Fe!
I really like the menu and the unhurried ambiance plus the cream brûlée
Phenomenal start to finish.
Lovely atmosphere, great service, but the star is the food. Even though it was lunch and we were mainly having sandwiches, every bite was perfectly balanced, beautifully presented and generous portions.
The food is innovative and delicious with a superb vegetarian option. We last visited two years ago and a great restaurant has become among the best. A very nice wine selection and impeccable service.
Excellent original dining.
Full flavors that does not overcome the basics of the entree picked.
Best duck breast ever eaten.
Green Soup is original and simply superb
Have had good meals here in the past, but this time food was pretty poor. Salmon without flavor—no seasoning, garnishes also flavorless. Pork tenderloin tough and vastly undercooked!
Waitress forgot to tell us the evening specials. Generally, a disappointing dining experience. We don’t plan on returning to Restaurant Martin.
Our server Luis was a total disappointment. We were celebrating our 26 wedding anniversary and he did not even acknowledge our anniversary. He said nothing and did nothing. He had checked out way before our meal was completed. You should ask for another server. He did not even bother to follow up since we had complained. Apparently, he was afraid and finished with us before we were finished with our meal. The food is very good, though, but many restaurants in Santa Fe to choose from.
Chef Martin Rios is one of Santa Fe's exceptional (and creative) chefs. I definitely consider Restaurant Martin a "special occasion" favorite. (Sunday brunch outside on the patio is wonderful, too). The special this evening was a sea bass on pureed lentils. The surrounding ingredients were flavorful, but the the sea bass itself was a little too bland for me and my son-in-law. Otherwise we were pleased we came to Restaurant Martin.
I love Martin’s for lunch. The service is always good and the food is always great.
was anxious to try Restaurant Martin on my annual visit to SF...disappointed that the Chef was not in town....food is VERY creative, almost to the point of not being able to taste the actual food, i.e., salmon, had too much of the puree and the artichoke heart was very tough, asparagus salad was very good, used a lot of home grown herbs, veggies, which is great !
Atmosphere is wonderful, a little windy at times but not to the point of making you not enjoy the atmosphere. Customer service was excellent, "busgirl" VERY attentive, server (G....?) was very good at knowing the dishes and the different wines. Panacotta to die for !
Next time I will bring my dog, glad to hear it is "dog friendly...". Thank you for a wonderful evening.
Caesar salad was bland. Breast of chicken dish was awful. Salmon was very tasty and well-plated. Chocolate desert disappointing. Some good values on wine list.
This was our second experience at the restaurant. The food no service are excellent. I consider the restaurant one of the best in my life experience. The desserts are amazing in addition to the entrees.
