What a delightful evening! The service Sarah provided was professional and very comfortable. The food was absolutely delicious. We sat next to a cozy fire and enjoyed every minute of our evening. I can’t really say enough about how lively this restaurant is.

Liked the cozy ambiance and especially liked sitting in front of the fireplace. The service was very good. We thought the food was good, but not quite the wow we expected. We would definitely try it again.

If I could give this place 10 stars I would! I love this place. Every time we visit NC we HAVE to eat here. We call this place our special hideaway. The food is beyond amazing and the views of the sunset over the mountains is like no other. This place is very special. We always have the best time here and the service is excellent. It is a hidden gem in the mountains of North Carolina. Best food, best wine and best views. You feel special when you eat here because of their limited seating and exquisite food options. Fine dining at it's best! 10 stars all around.

What a fantastic experience!! Everything was perfect! We arrived a little early for our reservation, so we had drinks in the library while waiting for our table. The food was phenomenal. My husbands lamb was a little undercooked for his preference, but it tasted great nonetheless. My duck entree was one of the best meals that I have ever eaten. Overall great experience!

Nasty weather night... ended up being a truly quiet, romantic, dinner. Wait staff was very attentive and food was exquisite. The restaurant is tied to the Inn. It's at the top of the mountain next to "the Blowing Rock"

This was our 5th visit over the past 5-6 years when we visit Blowing Rock and they haven't missed a beat. Nothing better than watching the sun set over Grandfather Mountain while having a cocktail on the patio. The food and drinks are outstanding as well making this restaurant a must see when in the area.

This was our 1st time at the restaurant and the ratings that we read about it were on target. The food was outstanding. One reviewer said it was as good as the Artisinal, which is our favorite restaurant, so we had to go here. It is as good as the Artisinal. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. We will be back.

We were not expecting to be so blown away by the food here! Made a last-minute overnight stop at Gideon Ridge, and managed to get a reservation for dinner. The food was absolutely outstanding, and Corey was such a friendly and knowledgeable server. Even if you are not staying there, I highly recommend eating there if possible! One of the very best restaurants in Blowing Rock.

Wonderful from start to finish to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. Arranged beforehand to have a gift at our table and it was ready upon our arrival.

Scenic location and intimate, quiet dining room. Handcrafted cocktails and a 100% local farm to table menu. Our server Corey was fantastic, her descriptions and recommendations were spot on. Textures, temperatures, acidity...we are fairly accomplished home cooks and we were impressed by every dish.

Well worth a trip to Blowing Rock. One of our most memorable meals.

Our server was wonderful, romantic ambiance on a foggy night on the terrace. Try the scallops for your entree, you won’t be disappointed.

First time dining at Gideon Ridge with another couple. We were seated outside to take in the scenic view and enjoy the wonderful mountain air. Food was delicious. Presentation was very appealing. Service was friendly and knowledgeable. We couldn’t have enjoyed our dinner more. The chicken liver pate was delicious (and I’m not usually a pate fan). Local fresh ingredients featured.

Outstanding dining experience. We had a later reservation on a week night so it wasn’t particularly crowded. It is heavily booked so consider reservations a month in advance. Prices are high but food very creative. Some of the portions a tad “precious” For us probably the best restaurant in the High Country. We will return.
