Each evening, award-winning Chef Linton and Gina Hopkins welcome diners to savor an ever-changing menu that highlights Georgia's purest, locally grown produce and naturally raised meats. The inspired, New American cuisine is lovingly prepared with a southern accent and served with gracious hospitality. Each detail--from the hearth-baked bread to the pickled peaches to the Charcuterie - is made in-house. Indulge in a bottle from the meticulously selected wine list, or join us at the bar for a hand-crafted libation from our nationally recognized cocktail menu. Restaurant Eugene has been a winner of the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence since 2005. Chef Hopkins is a 2012 Best Chef Southeast James Beard Award winner, was named a Food & Wine Magazine Best New Chefs All Star in 2013 and is the most recent addition to Delta's culinary team.

Everything about this place was impeccable. My wife and I did the $125 6 course tasting, we were so excited in the days leading up to the reservation as we had been there several years ago and it was great. The staff is impeccable and funny when they want to be, the dining room is beautiful, although a little stiff and quiet (very hushed talking) and the presentation of the food is museum like, beautiful, pretty, awe inspiring. But and it was a very big but...probably half of the courses were just bla. looked beautiful, but completely lacked in taste. I eat at restaurants all over the US as a sales person, lots of them, lots of really good ones, I was just shocked. Then I noticed a fair amount of empty seats on a Saturday night at 8:30 and realized maybe the word is out and we just didn't get it. For $250 plus drinks, we were expecting a lot more taste.

Best restaurant in Atlanta!!! no doubts! We spent our 10th wedding anniversary early February 2018 and we couldn't have chosen a better place. The food was incredible, the plates looked like pieces of art, the explanation of each dish and wines was awesome, an OUTSTANDING service, beautiful decorated place.... We had the tasting Menu and it was an incredible culinary trip!

The Eugene Team was aware about our anniversary and from the very first moment and until we left make us feel so special. They transformed our special night into a memorable one that we will never forget.

Last but not least let me CONGRATULATE all the team at the kitchen for their amazing cooking! They are so talented! Congratulations!!!!

So Pretentious. Waiter frequently interrupted our conversation to ask if everything was 'Delightful', but never appeared when needed. He offered unsolicited advise and information (the history and reason for claypot cooking) but he could not tell us what the main course 'Southern Vegetables ' consisted of ('maybe risotto'). It took almost 3 1/2 hours to serve us 3 courses. Painful!
Much of the food was simply odd. An hors d’oeuvre of pimento cheese in sweet macaroons? A thick bland benne seed pudding with sweet whipped cream. My main course of 1 small quail was tasty but ever so tiny. The pork duo was quite good. Nothing was good enough to order it again.

We were disappointed. We’ve enjoyed the restaurant in the past for special occasions or when we wanted to treat ourselves, but this time the food was overly rich and there were too many amuse bouche pre-appetizer courses and rich breads served. It was all just too much. This was our sixth visit but I doubt we’ll ever go back. They might want to think about lightening up a bit.
