Had reservations and the restaurant didn't call to say that they had closed. We were stuck without dinner reservations!!
My girlfriend and I enjoyed shared two courses (a salad and a main entree) and it was definitely worth the value of the meal. They could have put a little more seafood in their ciopinno, however the soup overall was delicious. On top of that, they were courteous enough to split the soup into two separate bowls for each of us to enjoy. Definitely recommend to couples enjoying a nice evening together and will most likely be returning for the right occasion again.
We started out with Epic's apple, walnut and brie quesadilla. Just right. For our main course we opted for their special pasta of the evening - shrimp with a rich lobster sauce and veggies over al dente linguine. Yummy! Terrific service.
Tuesday turned out to be Mardi Gras, and Epic was heavily populated with people celebrating the event. Several customers wore masks, and there were several larger than usual parties. The bar was full! Lots of laughter. We started out with a special appetizer, skewed teriyaki chicken that was perfectly grilled. Our entree was miso salmon over linguini. The salmon was yummy and the pasta, as usual, prepared al dente.
Epic's salads are wonderful. Last night we had a caesar salad with grilled chicken. Just right. We then enjoyed their seafood Thai curry. We intentionally saved some of the curry sauce to enjoy over rice at home. Terrific service!
Always consistently fun. The menu offers something for everyone. Many opportunity to share. Music and service create perfect atmosphere.
Celebrated Valentine's the day before with my hubby. The prix meal was superb. Thank you for making our valentine celebration special.
Overall very mediocre. Waitstaff was not attentive nor friendly.
Too bad this restaurant closed. This is a great place. Excelled comfort food. Glad I at least dined before it went belly up.
Let me start out with dessert. We frequent Epic and as such they gave us the dessert they developed for their Valentine's Day dinner: a strawberry nutella crepe layer cake. Outstanding! Epic ought to add this on their regular menu. Back to the beginning of the evening. We started out with their Asian roast duck salad - perfectly prepared. Incidentally, all of the salads we had at Epic are worth a try. We've had most items on their menu, and I've decided that my favorite entree is their truffled garden pasta with chicken katsu. Any time we have had their pasta it's prepared al dente with a yummy sauce and crispy chicken katsu.
The restaurant was very busy! Food yummy as usual. We shared their tasting option the included their Asian roast duck salad followed by a tasting that included miso butterfish, fried pork chop and crab cake. The pork chop itself would generously serve two for an entree. The crab cake was fine, except the menu said we would get seafood ravioli instead of the crab cake. If it matters to you, I'd confirm that you actually do get either the seafood ravioli or the crab cake. Great service!
We started out with their Full Moon Ravioli which were filled with spinach, mushroom and ricotta, then covered with a macadamia nut pesto sauce. Outstanding! Although we try to not have two pasta dishes in one meal we decided to try a new dish - shrimp with lobster sauce served over angel hair pasta. So yummy! Service was wonderful. Attentive without being intrusive.
We decided to take advantage of their advertised "Tasting Menu" special for January. Great deal for $35...flavorful duck salad to start, followed by the entree featuring miso butterfish, seafood ravioli and fried porkchop, and finished with a refreshing coconut ice cream! What a great selection. Service was friendly and efficient.
Restaurant Epic is a special place because it works for both a special celebration or a casual evening. We saw date-night couples and business groups - all having a fun evening. Don't forget to sample their ahi poke, escargot poppers or crab dip. The bar was especially active.
Excellent food and great prices! Great service too. Can't wait to go back again!
Restaurant Epic's salads are done right. Crisp lettuce, just the right amount of dressing and fresh ingredients. This evening we had an Asian roast duck salad. Then we had their special, salmon with crust furikake. Yummy!
We started out with their special appetizer - skewered teriyaki chicken. Their special entree for the evening was a perfectly prepared pork chop with mashed potatoes and roasted brussel sprouts. A lovely evening!
Ono food and big portions! Great service too. The pri fixed specials for $35 are an excellent deal and a great way to sample a variety of dishes.
Service was awful. We had to constantly find and ask server for various things. Food was good but my scallops were undercooked so I had to send them back. They then came back over cooked and rubbery texture. Everything was good but the service was horrible.
Restaurant Epic has a bacon Bloody Mary I will continue to have dreams about until I can get there again and have another. We went for Christmas Night, and it was a nice, fairly casual place that wasn't loud and had good food.
