Restaurant at The Hotel Tides Ratings and Reviews
We have always had a wonderful meal here and last night was no exception. We ordered the short ribs, the halibut and the duck along with house salads and the arugula salad. Everything was delicious and expertly prepared. Service couldn't have been better. Waiter was attentive yet left us alone to talk when we wanted to. I think The Hotel Tides is a true gem.
This was our second trip to the Tides. The staff was very friendly . Our meal was excellent. Veal Osso Buco was a special and is one of our favorites. It was done to perfection. The Colorado Lamb Chops were equally prepared to perfection. Our server was knowledgeable and genial. It was a relaxing atmosphere with just the right amount of buzz. We'll be back.
I have been here once before - They change the menu seasonally. Its a quaint restaurant in a boutique hotel. Food was excellent & chef accommodated my dietary requests. Had enough of a selection to suit everyone without being boring. Definitely will be back a third time.
Every time I have out of town guests staying with me in Asbury, I take them to the restaurant at the Hotel Tides. I love it there! Its my go-to restaurant because I love the people who work there (Ryan!) always know I will have a great cocktail, a deliciously prepared dinner, greeted by the wonderful staff that work there and a wonderful atmosphere to unwind in, Its my special go-to restaurant!
I usually do not eat in hotels but the reviews of this restaurant caught my eye and decided to give it a try while in the ausbury park area........to my delight is was very good.....nice menu and very helpful and friendly waiter......dining room is a nice setting and we enjoyed a very good meal. I would imagine in the summer sweason that is pretty busy so reservations are a good idea
I stumbled across this restaurant on Open Table when looking for availability of one of the better known Asbury Restaurants and was amazed at the reviews; so my girlfriend and I decided it was definitely one we wanted to try. What a great decision! The food was excellent and the service was top notch. We were so happy we went there for dinner and definitely intend on returning! It's truly a hidden gem and perfect for a romantic dinner or for a group of friends. Give a try you won't be disappointed!
Kids gave us a nite out in Asbury Park and an acquaintance recommended Hotel Tides restaurant for dinner. Off the main drag on a quite street on the north end of town within walking distance from the Asbury Hotel. Sunday off season evening, so was not crowded and were seated right away. Food and service were outstanding with reasonable prices.
Would definitely come back.
My Husband and I have been coming to The Tides for 10 years now but usually just to grab a quick bite on the patio or to hang on the patio with friends enjoying cocktails. We finally decided to have dinner in the restaurant and so happy we did! This place has amazing food and the staff are incredibly friendly. Every plate was amazing.
Tip: Braised Short Ribs but first...Eggplant Meatballs! Yum!
My wife and I came for a special occasion on the recommendation of friends. As long time "foodies" we found the meal to be outstanding. Service was attentive but not overbearing. Menu was diverse with a number of excellent choices both for appetizers and main courses. We went on a Sunday evening so I cannot comment on how crowded it might be on the weekend. It is a neighborhood location, a great porch for drinks and a comfortable bar area. But, the real attraction was the food and preparation. I had the octopus for an appetizer, the short ribs for the main course. My wife had the scallops. Naturally we shared and I would not want to make a choice as to whose selection was the better one. Let me say that neither of us was disappointed. We shall return. My only disappointment is that I cannot take credit for this "discovery". Again...outstanding.
