We had just the loveliest time in the Restaurant and even upon entry, I asked the hostess if the table beneath my favorite Alexis Smith was available, the Bad Taste is Better Than No Taste At All mural, and she went and checked and then came back and seated us thus. Bless her, and our waiter, she was the best, and sweet and funny and knew how to just allow a table its own pace, its own experience. So often in Los Angeles one feels as though one dines at the sufferance of the wait staff, but that was so not the case yesterday in the Restaurant. My friend, an old graduate student, and I had a lot to catch up on and our waiter was skilled, skillfully trained, and just out and out excellent. Thank you, Michelle Latiolais

We were seated without a wait and the hostess was sensitive to my needs ADA. The food was timely and absolutely delicious! I had lump crab and avocado. It was a generous portion. My partner had chopped salad and ate every bit. The view, the music and the atmosphere was special.

We enjoyed the quiet atmosphere (not dead, quiet) enabling a conversation with my fellow diners without shouting to each other. The food was delicious, the views fantastic, waitstaff attentive and courteous, and our fellow guests well-behaved. Not only the chef, but also the pastry chef deserve the highest ratings. For dessert we had the choco-banana which looked like a chocolate-covered banana, but was not. It was quite a surprise and I won't spoil the event for you if it's still available. We can always count on a wonderful meal at the Getty's white-tablecloth restaurant.

It was very pleasant to eat brunch outside and enjoy the views. Gazpacho and frittata were excellent as was our waiter! We appreciated being able to linger at our table.

We visited on a Sunday, so the Brunch Menu was on for that day. At first, I was disappointed because I'm one to plan out my meals ahead of time. That quickly changed once the food started coming out. We started with the popovers and 3 flavored butters. Truffle, Mixed Berry, & Tangerine. ALL were amazing. We had the Spicy Candied Bacon and I cannot stop telling everyone about it. We had a margarita and a red wine, both were fantastic. For mains we shared the Eggs Benedict and the Veggie Frittata and a side of the potatoes. Both came with a lovely spring salad. The views were to die for. I loved the whole experience. From start to end everyone was lovely. It was very expensive. About $144 for the items noted above. So, plan for that. I wanted the upscale experience, and I got it. I wouldn't change a thing and I'll definitely be going back. 10/10 Would Go Again!

The experience was not as great as the last time. Very limited menu, food was not great. Waiter was screaming at someone else across the room at one point. Poached eggs were hard and over cooked. Rib meat was not great, potatoes were soggy. French Toast was okay. Location is still heavenly.

We had such a wonderful dinner at the restaurant. The host, Elliott, made our evening. She was kind, thoughtful, accommodating, and helpful. Our server was wonderful and helpful. As well as the bus staff. We ordered the melon gazpacho, tuna tartare, Cobb salad, and salmon. everything was delicious. I want to learn how to make the Cobb salad dressing. Thanks for a wonderful evening!

Thw dinner was next level delicious. The cocktails were delicious as was our waiters choice of wine. It’s not inexpensive, but so worth the price.
