Restaurant at Peninsula Ridge
Our culinary team takes great pride in offering the ultimate dining experience using fresh locally grown produce (often grown right down the street) served by skilled, professional and friendly staff. Our reputation for epicurean excellence is often one of the main reasons why people choose The Restaurant at Peninsula Ridge.
I have to say from the moment we arrived the place was amazing. Our reservation for 5 pm we were met at the door by Tracy and seated immediately.
The menu and wine pairings were expertly explained.
The ambience was incredible
The food was out of this world.
The service was awesome.
Well worth the drive from downtown Toronto.
I will definitely be returning in the near future.
Well done and keep up the good work!!!
First time visiting Peninsula Ridge! The Food was amazing, wine fantastic, and great service and atmosphere. Our reservation was a bit later so the wine shop was closed, will certainly revisit!
We went with friends for a Valentine's dinner. What a delight! Between the four of us, we ordered everything on the special prefix menu. Each of us was thrilled with our choices. I have a an allergy and that proved no trouble to this amazing chef. The service from Tracey and her helper, Trinity was over he top. Everyone had a wonderful experience.
This is an amazing restaurant and the food is wonderful...great presentation and excellent taste
We had a wonderful date night. My fiancé ordered the Surf and Turf and I had the Oven Roasted Chicken Breast. Both were impeccable! The service and atmosphere were great! We will be returning for another date night very soon!
Always a great dinner and experience at Peninsula ridge! Fabulous food and atmosphere... lovely staff... can’t ask for more! Highly recommend
New Years Eve dinner.
It was New Years Eve. Everyone in the group enjoyed everything. No complaints with food or service.
My wife and I really enjoyed our anniversary dinner at Peninsula Ridge. The food was great and the staff were excellent. Will definitely be going back.
This was a stop on our way home from a short trip to Toronto. What a delight! We highly recommend the duck breast and then the lamb. If you haven't had their Caesar Salad, try it; you will be thrilled. If you've had that give the poached pear salad a try. We loved the antipasto platter too. Wines are superb! Our server, Tracey was knowledgeable and so very helpful. This restaurant is a must try!
The service we had was lovely. She was attentive to our needs and everything happened within an appropriate time.
The food was great. The ambiance just so-so. The staff prep area is open to the main dining room. You can hear them clanging dishes and talking LOUDLY. It kinda ruins the impact of what is otherwise a very lovely and potentially VERY romantic restaurant. There's LOTS of staff noise in this restaurant. Bottom Line: The room is lovely, the service and food is very good, but the loud staff chit-chat and prep-noise just ruins the intimate setting. I would dine here again in a heartbeat, but ask for a room as far from the bar and kitchen as possible.
Wonderful meal in a beautiful atmosphere! Highly recommend!
Great place for dinner. However, I would have preferred a different table. We made a reservation but got the last available table for the evening.
Very tasty well prepared food and has nice well-rounded choices on the menu even though I am a pescatarian. Very much appreciated.
We enjoyed the food the quiche was excellent. I felt rushed I didn't finish my drink and it was taken away as well as my scone which I asked for it back. I would have liked a little more time to enjoy my time there. A little pricey but understandble for a winery. Overall it was very good and will recommend to others.
Lovely evening with friends. The waitress mixed up one of the dinner orders. She could not be more apologetic, comps the dinner and offered us all some special ice wine.
As usual the food preparation was at a very high level. Have never had a bad experience at this winery restaurant. Our guest for the dinner wants to make dinner an annual event, she was so impressed.
As always this restaurant never disappoints. The food is exceptional and the staff are wonderful, especially Tracey.
The first time we went to Peninsula Ridge we got Tracey as our server. She recommended a particular wine and a meal option which we loved. Months later when we returned, she not only remembered us but also remembered the wine she recommended and the meal we selected. Now when we show up, she knows exactly what we like and will often ask the Chef to make a small change in order for us to have exactly what we want. Peninsula Ridge is our "go to" restaurant after a long week. Perfect place to relax and unwind. Highly recommend it to anyone.
This was a combination of innovative and very good food preparation, attentive service and fine wines well matched to the food. It was well worth going there.
Wonderful experience! Excellent menu and very courteous staff. Can’t wait to return for another fabulous meal!! MK
YES BUT FIND BEER AND WINE PRICES TOO HIGH.
ASKED FOR MILK FOR COFFEE AND GOT CREAM.
great food, great wine, great service. a wonderful experience, we will be back.
I was surprised to see that the bottle of wine I purchased to have with lunch was double the price it was in your store! Why?
The food was excellent.
My husband and I enjoyed a delicious meal that was perfectly paired with a wonderful Cabernet Rosé wine at this quaint, romantic restaurant. The charcuterie platter for one was enough to share as our appetizer. The bread was crusty, served warm and very tasty. My entrée was the strip loin which was cooked to perfection with a stack of thinly sliced potatoes and mixed veggies. My husband’s duck was medium rare served with scrumptious roast potatoes. For dessert I enjoyed the Raspberry white chocolate mousse with hazelnut brittle and my husband had a very rich dark chocolate pâté with berries. The wait staff was very helpful, attentive and friendly. Overall, we will be back and suggest you dine there as soon as possible!
We loved our table in the alcove with the gorgeous view! and my daughter loved the special "champagne" drink made for her. Thank you!
Good food, wonderful ambience, good wait staff. After lunch went to their wine store and bought a case of the semi dry Riesling and some red wine. Also great staff in wine store.
Always a pleasure. Great food service and location. Will be back again next season
Third visit to Peninsula Ridge, delicious food. Service excellent. My husband loved his "dry aged steak"
Found the hamburger extremely dry. I know it is listed as dry aged beef, I was hoping it would have some moisture added before grilling. It was extremely dry. The chickpea curry my friend ordered was also not well received. She left half of it. The menu for lunch is limited in choices, could be expanded a bit for more choice. Maybe another 2 offerings.
It is fairly pricey but hey you expect that in the Toronto/Golden Triangle
The atmosphere was lovely, the server excellent! The location outstanding.
Lovely spot for good food and wine. Hospitality staff were really good.
The mussels were fantastic! We really enjoyed our lunch
From reception to the reserved table to the service and food. This restaurant is going to be included in our prefered and regular place.
Very nice, intimate setting for a special occasion. Service a bit slow due to not enough servers. Very good food.
Yes............ but very noisy, hard to hold a conversation.
The food was incredible. I had the lamb which was moist and flavorful and generous in portion. We were given a private table in a small nook on the main floor and felt like we were the only ones there (though the restaurant was full). The service was impeccable and our waitress very knowledgable in local wines and wine recommendations.
Every bite was a taste sensation. Amazing view over grapevines and Lake Ontario to Toronto skyline.
second time at this resturant and on both visits the staff was not only perfessional but well versed with menu and wine suggestions. food is first class all the way and perfect portions. will definately return.
Wonderful experience! Chef Taylor (I believe?) created an excellent feature meal; Arctic Char, lobster and season veggies. We started with the scallops, again very good. I found the confirmation call ahead of time inquiring about mobility issues to be very kind and thoughtful. My mother, in her 70’s appreciated it the option of being on the main floor.
