The service was great, the food was exquisite and the wine fabulous. The views, ambiance and location was perfect!
Food was excellent. We were seated alone in a room with three tables. Since we’ve dined alone almost completely during the pandemic, we would have appreciated sitting in a room with others. Service very good; not great.
Beautiful day for lunch on the patio. Quality, freshness and presentation- excellent. The flavour couldn't be beat. We had the Yuca Gnocchi with Sage Butter. Melt in your mouth. The portion sizes are adequate for lunch.
2020 Pinot Grigio delicious❣
The food was good but the service by Diana was cold and without inspiration
beautiful setting -- nice people - comfortable accommodations.
Awesome lunch from patio ambiance to service to food and drink.
Gorgeous evening on the Niagara Bench.
Enjoyed some delicious food and wine. Highly recommend.
We were celebrating my husband’s 65 th birthday. We both ordered the tomahawk pork chops at 40$ a plate. The chop was so tough I had trouble putting my fork into the meat. I did not feel the wine that was suggested paired well with the meal. We were not told until the end of the evening that we could recap the bottle to take away.
Serve was extremely slow. It was a lengthily wait until the main meal came. Time elapsed between the appetizer and main meal was far too long over 40 minutes. Steamed mussels were excellent which we had as the appetizer. We were offered dessert on the house but unfortunately overall not a great experience.
The pork was delicious, amazing flavours throughout the entire dish. Their sparkling riesling is my new favourite wine.
Beautiful ambiance. Very peaceful. One of the most delicious meals I’ve had in a while! Gnocchi was top notch and Caesar salad unbelievable!
The patio was beautiful, the tables nicely spaced apart. Food was overall good. My PEI mussels appetizer arrived "cool" but the taste was nonetheless very good. I recommend asking for a description of the menu items; my husband ordered Shrimp Spring Roll which was actually (many) shrimp served on a (large) bun with french fries. Not the "oriental" taste implied by the name, but overall good.
What we had was delicious, but the menu does did some improvement. The service as always was excellent.
The outdoor patio is spacious with great views from its elevation. The service was attentive, but not overbearing--just right. Great presentation of the food and drinks, and tasted just as good. High quality food and good sized portions. Looking forward to the next time.
Nice setting and service.
This restaurant has been a staple for us even before we moved down here. Today we wanted to do lunch on the patio overlooking the vineyards. Food was great as usual, especially my main course - mushroom risotto with beef. The spiced pears and preserved raspberries were a great addition allowing the entire course to go really well with the reserve Syrah we had with our meal. My wife thought it needed more salt but to me that would have ruined the fruit overtones in it.
One comment is the markup on the wines is extreme considering the list is made up of their own wines. The reserve Syrah we had was $30 at the store (just behind the restaurant) but the charge was $75 in the restaurant.
Fine dining and delicious. Would like to go back for a romantic dinner. The brunch was more than I expected. Went for 30th anniversary .
Great dining experience !! Great service and great food and wine 😄
We will be back
Food, atmosphere and scenery were impressive. Looking forward to going back again.
Been coming for years and always live the food and location. Menu selections are very limited and not great at that. Service is great but the food is terribly disappointing. Will not return because of this.
Very disappointed they had run out of the trout. We had come here based on that dish.
Reservations were made as recommended by others. We were seated and met our waitress within several minutes. This gave us a chance to appreciate the area surrounding our outside table. Pre dinner drinks were served promptly. Both our meals were excellent!
We were transferred inside, as were others, due to a pending storm.
All in all, our expectations were met. Dessert was decadent.
Wait staff were most accommodating. Will return again.
Celebrated our 12th Wedding Anniversary (dined here, last year for our 11th as well).
Very good restaurant. The food was good. I think I choose an entree that was not the best but others food seemed great. My wine selection was extremely good. The service was very good. I would definitely return but try something else on the menu.
Beautiful setting, nice patio. Food was very sub par however. Eggs Benedict was too runny. Shrimp on toast was so bland it was almost inedible. "Cheesecake" was really a mousse in a cup, really underwhelming. Cantaloupe was large and the prosciutto slices too small. Brunch for 4 with wine and 2 mimosas was about $500. Sigh..really wanted to like it here, dont always want to go into Niagara. Staff was ok. Wine was good.
What could be better than dining overlooking the vineyard and Niagara Escarpment. We enjoyed the Chef’s special feature beef risotto and what could go better than a bottle of their 2019 Cab Merlot. Service top notch. That’s why we keep coming back.
Great outdoor setting for a summer lunch. Delicious food, great service and amazing ambience makes for a special occasion with someone special. Highly recommended
Endroit tranquille pour luncher. Bon service attentionné. Très bons mets. Prosciutto et melon, lobster roll (gros morceaux de homard), bouillabaisse avec une très bonne rouille et le nec plus ultra, le white chocolate cheesecake!
Lovely evening! Great food and service. Will definitely be returning.
It was a wonderful experience, beautiful location truly lovely
This was a beautiful experience with a lovely time on the patio. The burgers were fantastic and I really enjoyed my shrimp roll with potatoes. My husband ordered a charcuterie plate for one and although he enjoyed the delectable meats and bread, it would have been nice to have some cheese on the plate. Our server was very attentive and friendly and he did an excellent job answering our questions about the dishes and providing water on a hot day.
We will definitely go again!!
Very nice and private seating for two on a side porch made it even nicer. All was great.
Amazing food paired perfectly with their great wines Knowledgable staff and great location.
We had an incredible time here! It was our first time and our server Mathew was amazing and attentive. As vegetarians, we were blown away by the chef and the choice of food we were offered. This place not only has great food but the ambiance and the views of the vineyards was gorgeous!! We will definitely be coming back!!! 😍😍😍
Wine was good. Food was good. Waitress had an odd personality. Very slow. Winery had Lovely views. Tasting room staff were lovely and helpful.
Was great view and lovely food. A very lovely spot for lunch on the patio.
Very good food and excellent service. We shall return
Been dozens of times and this time I was disappointed. Beautiful setting. Asked for table under the tree for the shade and breeze. Tables were available, but they refused to put two together to accommodate. I always love the food, but not this time. It was different, not so good. We had a hot spot by the kitchen vent with no breeze. Need a fan. Service good. My friends have never been and really liked it. I will try again because maybe the Chef had a bad day. Thank you
A hidden treasure with a superb kitchen and the best customer service you'll ever experience. Lunch on the patio will transport you to Tuscany scenically. Absolutely recommend and will continue to enjoy special occasions and 'just because' meals there.
Husband and I were celebrating our 35 anniversary and chose to lunch at Peninsula Ridge. We shared the charcuterie platter for two (delish) followed by mussels, a lovely Pinot Noir for myself and a well received Reisling for my husband. Ambiance, service, food, wine....unforgettable!
We will return!
